everyone else has been loving the show.

By three random people that probably have 10 followers each. The show is not under fire.

It's about time black people are casted as the bad guys. I am so tired of seeing only white people as the bad guys in modern movies and tv shows.

You want things to be equal, then yes there are bad people of all races.

The amount of catering to one race is beyond ridiculous at this point. I have been looking for a diverse movie or TV show for a few years to actually cast a black person as the bad guy, because it almost doesn't even exist.

Diverse commercials and TV shows often make the whites out to be the bullies, bad guys, and idiots. Which is fine, but how about let other races also have these roles?

How is it racist when they signed up for the movie? They chose the role. Why can't black people portray a bully? What's wrong with that? Black people aren't capable of being bullies? These people who cry racism over anything and everything are absolutely insane and they need to be told just how wrong they are.

These actors were probably excited to play a role like this for once. I am beyond tired of seeing these idiots get attention. People shouldn't look through every single thing in life through racial lenses. Just how miserable are some of these people? And I say that as a miserable person. That has to be a horrible existence.

this shite here is maddening and one of the reasons I become more and more disgusted at social media on today's society. A couple of random shitheads posting on twitter is irrelevant. Nobody is "under fire" in any meaningful way. For centuries back to the dawn of man, people have found things to compalin about, about everything.

Pre-2000 a couple buddies walking out of a movie could just talk to each other about how it sucked and they hatd it and then gone on about their day. Now they say they type those same comments into the rectangle in their pocket and some no talent loser journalist makes it seem like all of America is grabbing pitchforks about to overrun the studio.

All of that. This is completely a non-story that this idiot media outlet has tried to make into one.

I haven't seen the show, but somebody please tell me the bullies are the privileged-rich kids, because THAT would be some irony

Why are we still giving platforms to random social media users who are very clearly in the minority in their opinions? These media outlets that elevate these dumb opinions are just as guilty as someone retweeting that dumb shite.
As is OP.

Honestly, it’s anyone that regurgitates this like it’s legit. It’s not. And I’m not surprised the OP hasn’t addressed that.

I don’t know anyone who doesn’t like this show. Across the spectrum. And I have a pretty mixed crowd between social media and friends.

Hey, who's gonna help me rework the lyrics to the Lego Movie "Everything is Awesome!" song into "Everything is Racist!"?

Both of the younger black kids are redeemed. The arc for the boy is weak, admittedly, but the siren has a pretty strong redemption arc. I didn’t see it as racist as all.

What's worse? The writer or the OP? I know people get bored but why is this a hobby? Is it fun?

As an aside:

Did anyone ask the actual ACTORS how they felt about it?

I doubt they had an issue with it, considering they get redeemed.

Let's be honest, the only "100% good" person in the show in Enid. Everyone else with a decent bit of screen time, including Wednesday, is shown to be at times either dishonest, manipulative, or destructive. No one is just "good" aside from Enid.

This is why our commercials don't represent reality and demographics and statistics.

Everyone is just on the No Mas train...we surrender to the mob and will just play it safe...

Waiting for the Robespierre fate when the woke mob drops the Guillotine on them.

I guess he didn't get the TV Commercials memo where all the criminals are white (see ADT Home Security Commercial) and the happy families are all black with Chinese children.
