WTF are yall bitching about race and gender. Looks like a dumb and stupid but entertaining mindlessly violent and often humorous film with an incredibly FAF lead actress kicking Satan worshipers arse with some quirky Wes Anderson style wide flat symmetric shots. Sign me up. We need more films like this.

It's now streaming on HBO Max if people are interested.
Watched it last night and while it's not terrible, movies like You're Next and Ready or Not are 1,000 times better.
Some funny moments, some good gore, but nothing special.

watched it this weekend as well and felt the same.
i REALLY enjoyed the first 45 minutes. after you realized what Asia was fighting against, it got a bit old and seemed like a bit of a rip off of Ready or Not with bad guys that kept coming for you.
her initial entry into the hotel and the first action sequence were great but it got eye rolling by the end. i don't care for demonic stuff but the pig head was a bridge too far for even my wife who likes horror stuff.
ETA: not to perv out, but if Zazie Beets is your thing, you'll get plenty of her looking fine. bloody and gored, but fine.

the description from others is accurate. glad I didn't pay to see it in theaters.
