Gunn's proven to be a good filmmaker so i have no doubt itll be a good film. The question is will audiences show up? Will you?

Probably not, and Supes is kinda boring, but to make him interesting changes who he fundamentally is.

The Joker: Drop a Deuce was not a DC comics movie.

edited to remove the fake trailer. Still think it will be good.
I think it will be good to very good based on the guy's record.

It's probably unfair to judge a movie by a single teaser image, but the one they put out for it looked concerning.

Superman looked tired and annoyed. The color palette looked extremely Batman and Robin. Etc.

I like Lucas Shaw. I wouldn't call Aquaman 2 a bomb, considering most box office pundits believe it reached past its "break-even line". I would call every DC movie released since Joker in 2019 a box office disappointment, at least, including Gunn's feature (and excluding The Batman, though I'm sure they were hoping for a billion).

The issue is that he’s so overpowered that it’s difficult to have any conflict or foil to the story without using the same kryptonite trope.

Hell, even if he fricks up, he can just turn back time and get a mulligan.

Man of Steel walked the character development angle and internal conflict element very well. Just not sure what Gunn can do different without feeling like a retread.

Hoult looks to be a good choice for Luther, but the rest of the cast looks awful.

Voice of the actor that is playing Superman is weak as hell and it looks like they just ripped off a bunch of stuff from previous movies with little creativity.

These boomers and their AI trailers will be the death of me.

Which is countered by his innocence and naive manner. The first couple of Reeves Superman movies worked well with that, but then they tried to turn Superman into a “complex” character. Didn’t work well.

This is stupid. All of the last 5 movies have been released with audiences knowing they weren’t going to matter because of Gunn’s announcement

Joker’s failure is due to it being a musical
