Cultural conservatism’s inability to get a foot in the door is somewhat of self-inflicted wound.
In the 90s, while deriding the violence of Quentin Tarantino* and the obscenities in South Park, conservatives seemed not to get that Pulp Fiction was the story of killer who reformed his life when given a sign from God, and Eric Cartman was the best spokesman for acknowledging the perils of political correctness since the...well...forever.
The culture has often offered a hand to cultural conservatives, but prudishly, they wouldn’t accept.
(*Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’s hero is a hippie killing machine.)

How long did you look to find "twitchy.com"?
If you look hard enough, you'll find someone offended by anything.

The perfect example of the end goal of this was seen over the summer in Seattle, where their "utopia" literally became a tribal slave state warzone within 3 days.

What's sickly ironic is the woke crowd is mostly white liberal progressives.

These aren't shining examples of conservatism.

No one is actually complaining about the show.
This is just astroturf: an article created to give the impression of public consensus when there is none.
The term “fake news” gets overused a lot... but this is a prime example of it.

You get a foot in the door anyway how.
I’m not saying preachers should have done Sunday sermons on “The Sainthood of Jules Winfield.”
But once you realize that the story of a spiritually reformed criminal has made connection with young filmgoers, perhaps instead of maintaining your separateness from pop culture, you should jump right in and start a conversation about what it means to re-discover spirituality in a modern world.

This goes back to the 50s with McCarthy and the 60s with Nixon. They both knew that Marxists were infiltrating all levels of media and academia and society, but they did nothing of any real substance about it. McCarthy was too aggressive on the point and it blew up in his face and by time Nixon came around it was basically too late. Nixon also activated China, which took the subversion reins from the Soviets after the USSR failed and have been far more effective at the task.
Th 1980s and 90s were the only time that conservatives could have passed laws to try to undo all the subversion (they could have chipped away at the media's abilities to slant stories the same way the leftists have chipped away at the 2nd Ammendment) but they never had the balls nor the foresight to do it. And it just festered and has know blown up in their faces. They also could have curbed big tech's influence in the 00s but also never did that either.
Now, short of some sort of breakup of the US and states/coalitions implementing Eatern European societal standard laws that negate anarchism and Marxism, the the genie's not going back into tbe bottle until there is a full scale apocalypse and society resets In a real way and not one controlled by gloablist destructionaires.

These writers are just cynical, click-baiters. These people don’t care about diversity. They just need a “take” they can sell.
(That, or it’s just a humorless scold. In which case, I pity anybody who hates life that much.)
This. These people don’t have beliefs. They’ve just decided to who’re out to the “woke” Twitter mob because it’s the easiest way to get views and notoriety.
That said. This attempt is lacking and will go exactly nowhere.

Dude, you gotta stop linking this crap. The websites and writers fully understand that it’s nonsensical garbage, but they don’t care. They just care about clicks. And if you are going to get them a couple hundred extra clicks on TD by trying to show everyone how ridiculous their writeup is, they’ll happily let you do so and skip all of their ad revenue right on down to the bank.
The only way for this type of clickbait to stop is for you to stop clicking it. Next time you see that headline, just leave it alone and ignore it. Or you’ll keep seeing them forever.

What if getting clicks from TD is their ENTIRE business model?
Posted on 1/30/21 at 10:44 pm to UndercoverBryologist
That’s the point, it is. They are effectively trolling y’all for clicks, and it’s making them millions of dollars. They aren’t going to turn off that spigot, you have to be the one who does it by not clicking.

Well, I didn’t click it. I Googled “Cobra Kai”+”Diversity”, scanned the headlines, and got a gist for what the issue was. Same ole same ole we get every week. You’re right. Just ignore it.

They did a great Japan episode that season and have an Asian kid in the recurring cast. We can't make every show all inclusive. Miguel is maybe the centerpiece and he's Hispanic.
This is just silly.

would say it’s a pretty diverse show. And it’s not the wine crowd. It’s just that one idiot.
Yeah. It’s pretty diverse but they don’t over represent minorities like pandering arse Hollywood typically does thus it isn’t “diverse”.

I wish someone would just ignore these useless fricks.
