I'm watching this for Cavill and Alotra cause she does it for me. After this I'm probably done. They took one of Netflix's most successful shows and found a way to frick it up. How no one is being fired for that is beyond me

Meh, I thought it was solid. Could’ve been way better if they stuck to the source material more but cavill Carries the day. Idk if I’ll watch season 4 or not, but I’ll watch the 2nd half of season 3 for sure. It drops later this month. 27th I believe.
In terms of woke bullshite ruining a show this is nowhere near Star Wars level bad, and in terms of show runners ruining a show it’s nowhere near GOT season 7+ bad.

I'm tolerating it, but I really hate the "breathy" voices of the secondary characters. It seems worse this season than I remember.

I think the three primary actors are doing a good job although I don’t think show Yennefer as written in the show captures the presence the character had in the books or games. She was like a storm that would pass through situations leaving a trail of devastation, disdain and admiration in her path and she comes off as almost pitiable and desperate in the show.
That said I’m trying to get passed skinny Caucasian goddess like witches being turned into overweight actresses who share nothing with their personality or looks from the books and games, but my expectations moving forward are pretty low.
