The first 5 episodes are up now on Netflix, the other 3 episodes come out some time later. I guess the lead actor changing after this season riled people up because I don’t recall any advertisements about the new season starting today.

I have no desire to watch since Henry Cavill is leaving the series.

I’m a big enough fan that I’m pumped for season 3 and will continue to watch. They need a smooth transition though. Season 2 left a little to be desired so here’s hoping season 3 is better.

I’m gonna wait a few days, if it’s a steaming mess I’ll just pretend it doesn’t exist.

I loved the Witcher games, but this show sucks...even with Cavill. Not sure why they would even entertain a show without him as he is clearly the main draw.

Really hope it's a lot better than season 2.

Does this season deal with the Wild Hunt? If not I’m not sure I’ll watch. Season 2 was dogshit. This show is a perfect example of how shitty the woke writers are and their attempt to ruin works that aren’t their own.

i didn't hate season 2 like most, but i only ever read the prequel Witchers (Geralt's previous adventures) and didn't play the game. What i understood about Season 2 was that they were referencing the Wild Hunt now that Ciri's powers were prevalant.

ETA: it was very obvious that the show runners were dog poop during season 2 and thus, Cavill's departure.

I'll watch out of curiosity. They took a sharp left turn from the source material.

Just curious. I started the book but didn’t finish. What was the big change? What I read was pretty faithful so far

Surprised Henry didn’t punch some of their heads off with how invested he is in this material.

I know Jonathan Majors would have

Staff mocking the source material

Spoilers

Ciri killed the entire court of witchers, Nenneke kills the entire royal hierarchy, and they created a big villain.

That’s disappointing.

I just didn’t notice any big “woke” changes for season 2.

I never got around to watching season 2 (and probably won't now that Cavill is leaving) but apparently they've made Jaskier bisexual in season 3, with his "serious love interest" being a dude.

I personally am good with gay/lesbian characters in shows as long as they are well written, but that is an absolutely absurd change and a complete 180 from the character in both the books and games. Not to mention it's completely unneeded as one of the other main characters in the books is already bisexual.

From what I remember hes a womanizer (maybe not the exact term for it but he definitely used his musical talents to woo women). Ok I can buy the woke for the sake of being woke now.
