There was one scene in the show, when they were talking about prophecies/destiny and they mentioned the wild hunt briefly. So if the show lasts long enough, past the books they may adapt the wild hunt story line from the game.

Just finished it. I did enjoy it quite a bit. I have only played the game for a few hours a few years back and there were some questions I had but easily answered with a quick google or even a rewatch of past episodes. I think a lot of people unfamiliar with it all will have to do some digging to get the full extent of whats going on even though I think the show does a decent job. I think people will give up on the show before doing so which is sad because it has got potential.
Im excited to see how Geralt now handles taking care of Ciri..im sure we will have some beast mode moments in season 2. Geralt really hinted early at how he has no purpose/desires especially in moments involving Yen but now you can tell he wants more out of life and how Yen has gone from wanting everything to maybe wanting less with him. Everyone was fighting their own demons/destiny.
Now Ciri and Yen are his purpose and the point of season 1 was to just set it all up. Can't Wait for more.

No prior knowledge of this whatsoever but started last night based on input here. Watched 4 episodes until 1 am and starting back around 8 tonight. This is very very well done.

I really can't wait for casting news for Vesemir, Regis, Milva, and the emperor. Though perhaps we only get Vesemir and the Emperor in season 2 and save Milva and Regis for s3 or s4

I hope they draw it out for 6-7 seasons at 10 episodes a piece, would be the dream. So much material to explore, so many cities on the Continent to visit, so many hot sorceresses for Geralt bang.

The voice of the Emperor in the games is Charles Dance (Tywin Lannister). Would be incredible if he both played and voiced the character.

Finished a little bit ago. I had no experience with any of it except playing some of Witcher 3 but never finishing it. This gave me the itch to redownload and start a fresh file over.
Great show. My one and only “complaint” was the timelines that didn’t really make sense until the final episode. It never reeeely bothered me as I was figuring it would get tied together at some point.
The main thing that tripped me up was I was thinking meeting Yen, the dragon, etc all happened after/while the city fell.

If anyone thinks that the show is disjointed and choppy. Read the first book, The Last Wish. That book is a mess, but still a good read. They nail pretty much every story in that book and add in some Ciri stuff from later books.
