Morgan had to go a little cray to pull all of that off. That wasn't exactly the preparations of a sane man

But they were highly effective. He's been on his own and has survived. On the other hand, Rick's group has seen numberous deaths. To me it is showing again the theme that man is more dangerous than walker.

Sort of. Carl was going by himself with Rick being hesitant. Michonne then offered to help and off they went.

Help me with this: in that town, did it not seem that people had died right there in the restaurant and had never been tampered with since? Just dropped over while eating? Did I miss something or was that the implication and is that supposedly how things went down as the world collapsed?

I'm not sure. At first I thought Morgan had rounded them up in there like the walker barn, but then that contradicts his whole "have to clear" mentality. They were probably just there to create action.

I didn't get that impression. I assume they were all in there because there was live bait in there. Did Carl and Michonne put the rats in there or did Morgan?

That's a great idea for bait and it makes it easier to take out the walkers.

was anyone else secretly praying carl would hit the trip wire and get hit by the axe?

That would have been the ultimate wildcard.

Carl and Michonne rolled a skateboard in there at the beginning that woke the walkers up and distracted them.

That's another thing...walkers shouldn't ever "tire" or need "waking up." The walkers in there were sitting at the tables and shite. Shouldn't they wander around constantly looking for flesh, even if it's in circles inside a small bar/restaurant?

At this point, I think the best way to find guns and ammo would be to find people who had recently died and figure out where their stash is. Anyone who lived this long would have amassed some weapons. Anytime they pass a fresh looking auto accident or if it looks like someone was recently attacked by zombies, they should be looking through the cars, houses, or whatever.

Same thing for drugs and other supplies. You're not likely to walk into the local pharmacy and find antibiotics. It's not like th last guy who raided the store was only going to take what he needed. He would take it all.

I liked the cook who came out of the kitchen looking like she'd been in there rolling out a batch of bicuits.

Exactly. Even something like a pregnancy test from last season or the baby formula earlier this season...no way there would be anything left in stores. In a world like this, everything has value.

Watch animal planet much and you'll see animals rest all the time. Pretty much the only thing they move for is the opportunity to eat, other than that they conserve their energy as much as possible. I didn't have a problem with all the walkers resting as much as all the walkers being in the bar in the first place when Morgan has been clearing the town. The only thing I can think of is he felt there were too many for him to take by himself so he made sure they stayed locked up in there.

I agree, but it has been said they can starve so they would get weaker.

Yeah that was ridiculous. I'm pretty sure if walkers do tire then they would just fall down where they were instead of finding a nice comfy booth to sit in.

But they aren't animals. They are undead.

Agreed, and that didn't make much sense either. But I just chalked it up to them being locked up in the bar and he didn't have to worry about them. Although it still doesn't match his "Clear" mentality.

I laughed at that.

Also the whole walkers surrounding the car but really was only like 6 and then no more came was dumb

They also use the gun fire attracts their hearing way to loosely. One time like 10000 zombies come to the farm the next huge gunfight ( gov and crew at prison) like no zombies show up

That would depend on how many were in the area. With the farm incident, they had already shown us that there was a huge herd of zombies migrating that direction.

Yes everything has more value, but storage and transportation costs have risen astronomically. Look at the gun safe example I mentioned before. On the surface it seems like a prize, but it's heavy and hard to open so unless you have the time and ability to break the safe, most will leave it be. No one's going to hit Foot Locker and take more than they need unless you are in a semi permanent location and have the ability to warehouse supplies.

It's not like there's much commerce going on. Most inter-human interaction has either involved temporary alliance to kill zombies, or trying to steal from your fellow man. It'd be kind of cool in the future to find something like Woodbury but more of a Barter Town. Where the guy running the town is actually trying to run a safe haven for business, not a cult.

Agreed. They actually worked barter into the video game pretty well and used it as a way to push the story. The video game is an unrelated group, but I wonder if they'll work barter into the show.

The thing that annoys me most about Zombies is that they are walking corpses that have their brains "rebooted." However, the rest of their body is dead/deteriorating as made very apparent by the death smell that they have. If their organs and muscles are rotting how the hell are they still able to move and digest food?
