they're on amc.com if you want to watch them. they aren't connected to the show(except for one minor backstory from the pilot) and are about 10 mins long each, I think.

Kirkman has said he will never address the issue of how the ZA started, who or what caused it, or any type of origin story.
He says the story isn't about that and that it would really serve no purpose. Does how it started matter at this point?
So unless he gives up control I don't see it ever being addressed. Kirkman has even said in interviews that he didn't even like the CDC arc from episode one because it was a weak attempt to try and give a backstory to the beginnings of the ZA.

no not really
but it could be an interesting episode randomly thrown into the middle of season four to make everyone go nuts

Great episode. Nothing really progressed with the governor yet, but Rick and the crew have the guns to get after it.
O and Michonne might be 1 of my favorite characters on the show.

Agreed. I'd rather get a boat and go in the middle of a lake

Eventually, the show won't be about zombies as much. It will be about fixing the world and starting over. Just adding my 2 sense.

One of the best episodes of the show, def the best of the season.

you kidding?
it's obvious that the creators are stalling trying to figure out how to pace the story...that was as filler as filler gets....reintroduce a character from pilot but nothing changes to story-line and reintroduced character is just a cameo.

This is my take on the "Morgan Clear situation"
when Morgan says clear he means that he has to clear all the areas around, and I think he is going to come back and try to clear the prison, but heres the thing, Morgan also talks about how he didnt kill his wife and now his son is dead and blamed it on himself being selfish etc.. I think Morgan will possibly come back shooting at Rick and the group in the way turning the table on Rick for not killing Morgan earlier?
Call me crazy but I'm just trying to think of all the possibilities...

Like the episode, the preview for next weeks looked solid. Love them putting Morgan back into play, like was said earlier I think the writers keep him in their back pocket.

I figured they we along ways away from ricks hometown by now. You would think he would have gone back for supplies and to check on morgan before now.
Morgan will probably come in right at the end of the prison/woodbury fight and help rick win but by this time both the prison and woodbury will need to be evacuated due to damages from the war.
Rick and his group will leave and morgan will go with them. The wildcard here is tyrese they haven't had 2 black males figure in the story at the same time yet.
Just my $.02

Just finished this episode . It was very good
Question:
When Rick tied down Morgan he was passed out from Carl's gunshot. Then he woke up freed himself and stabbed Rick. Then after the commercial he was tied up again. Did he just let Rick tie him up again even though he was fully conscious ?

Not really. Michonne bonding with and finally being accepted by Rick and Carl is more than just filler material.

After seeing that stockpile of weapons and how secure the area was, I'd think to move the crew to Morgan's location. Even if that meant dispatching Morgan if he became hostile.
Absolutely no one would know they are there, they have a ton of weapons and position to defend themselves, and could really pillage all the stores around them and in the surrounding towns.
