He'll yeah they are eating it. That is smart. We need to make another thread for us on AMC+. Keep them separate, so no spoilers..

FWIW, I don't think your post gave anything away. It wasn't really plot-related.

I've seen episode 3, and I'll just say lower your expectations. It isn't near the quality of the first two.

Decent episode so far, though it's not really going anywhere. I guess I should have known the red shirt characters were going to get it.

so who is alive left on this errand?
negan, Maggie, daryl, the reverend...anyone else? Besides dog.

gotta hand it to Maggie her plan to reduce the number of people that need to eat is working beautifully.

so, correct me here as needed...
-they’ve not yet reached this supply stop that she never mentioned before this episode
-they’ve not yet reached Maggie’s former settlement where there is food for everyone
-they are being hunted and executed
-they don’t have any way to carry weapons or ammo or this boundless supply of food except by backpack

I truly don’t understand what the hell is going on here

Also, that dairy farm looked really nice why in hell don’t they move there?

the dialogue in these episodes tends to be so hokey and ham handed but I thought the scene in the church was fantastic. Maggie finally addressed the real issue with negan...it’s not that he killed Glenn at all. He killed a lot of people as did our heroes (remember the satellite station?). The issue is that the colonies were relatively thriving and it was negan and the saviors that weakened and eventually set them up for collapse

and he should not get a pass for that no matter what happens now

Pretty good episode. Started way better than it finished. But, the reapers are really interesting and I'm still loving the dynamic between Negan and Maggie.

If they frick, that would be one of the most messed up things ever shown on TV.

I like how Maggie defeated the reaper guy. She already knew that the rails in the stairwell were rusted out and instead of manhandling a 250 lb. attacker like a Charlize Theron character, she threw him off balance and kicked the rail out, causing him to fall. It was nice to see some creative realism for a change.

If this were game of thrones, they’d frick and then she’d put a knife in his skull.

Anyone tired of the ridiculously overt role reversals?

Starts with them having all the women do down to the lair of walkers while the guys stay safe up top.

It’s the men who are cowards and run

It’s the woman betrayed by the man

It’s the women out killing while the men do domestic work at the camp

It’s the women who tell the men that they are too slow patching the walls without horses.

It’s the women who go catch the horses for the men.

It’s the women who kill the horse to feed the villagers.

The men do things, but there aren't many of them left. Kang has cancer, Alden is a pussy, Eugene is a pussy, Aaron is gay, Daryl is a loner, Gabe is weirdo and Negan is in perpetual shame.

But, like I said, at least they are starting to come up with creative, semi-believable ways for women to defeat men, and I'm really hoping they just 'kind of forget' that they turned a 75 pound little girl into a badass swordsman. I just can't suspend disbelief on that one.

I don’t think they ever had her fight people yet. It is slightly believable that she mastered killing walkers with a sword.

I didn't care for how she was able to hold off the guy when he was on top of her with leverage. But, whatever, can't really get too upset about it in a fantasy show.

They had her incapacitate the black guy that eventually brought Michonne to slave island or whatever that was. She's also held people at sword point. Whatever they have her doing, it's just absurd.

I cheated and watched next week's episode. It's pretty good, and introduces a new dynamic to the current situation. I have to admit. The writing has gotten better over the last year or so.

I’m slightly ashamed that I was surprised by her showing up.
