LOST was better and it’s not really close.

Justified has two amazing lead characters but is pretty flat outside of Goggins and Olyphant. The Shield is a contender for one of the best shows ever. Light years better than Justified.

Art?

Wynn Duffy?

Dewey Crowe?

Mags Bennet?

Those are just a few that make we wonder if you’ve watched it at all!

I've watched Justified twice.

It's a good show. It is not a great show.

The Sopranos is definitely one of the greatest shows ever. It is my personal favorite as well, but when you get into "best" territory everyone is going to have their preference. I love the Wire too but for different reasons. They portray two different sides of crime in two different economic situations. The Sopranos was one of those shows that changed everything when it came out and was a gigantic craze, whereas the Wire seemed to largely catch on down the road a bit, at least comparatively. Both amazing and they can both be great and coexist.

Edit: wasn't Lady Gaga in the Sopranos lol as an extra when AJ and his dipshit friends are ordering pizza and throwing trophies in the school pool.

Also the last season of The Wire is a complete piece of shite. Logic goes out of the window and the show becomes a complete parody of itself. The only storyline that seems like it is set in reality is Bubble’s finishing story arc.

Just like Breaking Bad

The Wire's new angle of S5 wasn't good, but the main overarching drug/police storyline was just as good as the rest of the show.

Nothing like the disgrace that was the final season of Breaking Bad.

Idk if you're being sarcastic or not. If not you should make a thread and plead your case about the last season of Breaking Bad. I'm actually pretty curious.

Google it if you don't trust us.

The final episode in particular was cringe as hell.

Watching it now on hbomax for the first time. Into season 3 and it been great, more Goodfellas than Godfather. I love they don’t make Tony into some kind of hero. He’s a degenerate womanizer, gambler and selfish prick like a good mafioso should be. Looking forward to the rest of the trip.

The Sopranos was great for showing mafioso guys as street-level thugs living nextdoor. But there wasn't one single sympathetic or likable character. There was not one single character development arc that stayed with me.

The first season is awesome,,,...after that it runs way down hill fast.

You can not run a mob like the way the show went after season 1.

McNulty Faked a serial killer. The police story was not as good in season 5.
