The Ringer's 100 best episodes of the century

I haven't had time to digest the list, and the #1 pick is a pretty good one, but I do think the list is way too heavy on, well, terrible TV. Just because a lot of people watch trash doesn't make it any good, and the presence of a lot of reality TV garbage takes spots away from more deserving shows.
I do like the one episode per show rule for maximum inclusiveness. What's y'all's top ten?

sorry, but any list that has episodes from The OC, Kardashians, and the Bachelor is garbage. What a terrible list.

They tried to be inclusive and put in at least one episode of a bunch of different shows. It's okay to have multiple episodes from GoT, BB, The Wire, etc on this kind of list.

How do you call it the 100 BEST episodes of the century, yet limit a show to one episode?
I like the premise of using one episode on the list and it was fun to scroll through (will have to read some of them later) but you can't call it the best episodes

Seinfeld ended in 1998, pretty sure this list starts in 2000. Kind of hard to put it on the rankings.
Don't agree with their methodology or order, but can't fault them on that one.

Disappointed there wasn't an episode from Bates Motel's final season. Freddie Highmore was phenomenal in the final season especially towards the ends where he plays Norman as "Mother" who is pretending to be Norman. "Visiting Hours" belongs somewhere on this list.

Exactly.
If I made a list of my top 100 episodes, I have no problem admitting GOT and Breaking Bad would occupy a disproportionate share of the list.

This might be the worst list I’ve ever seen. A Jersey Shore episode at #17? On an actual best episodes of the century, there should be 30 shows tops on that list, since some shows are just better and are consistent.
