I’ve started keeping a list each episode it’s so prominent. It’s totally ridiculous
I'm just as anti woke as you... .but show me your list..
with the "woke" nonsense "shoehorned in" every single episode... where they spend an inordinate amount of time on the issue (other than the abortion pill thing.. I'll give you that one). Everything else was just in passing. They spent no time on it and didn't make a thing of it.

Thats the definition of shoehorning
You fit in a 5 minute woke thing just to check it off a list

Agreed, but..
I just look at it as being accurate with today's society. They didn't try to beat us over the head & it didn't seem too preachy.
The performances are some of the best I've seen. Taylor Dearden Cranston(Dr King) was phenomenal. If any character ever deserved a spinoff.

He apparently did his residency at Charity. Which is my background. I had to stop watching ER back in the day. Haven't watched this. ]

IMO this show is top tier and definitely worth a watch. From what I’ve read it’s also pretty accurate with the medical terms and procedures.

How about episode 8 where the “anti masker” is framed as a redneck anti-vaccine, violent lunatic and then the doctor shames her by asking her if she wants masks during her surgery?
That’s an even minor example. Rewatch and see how each issue is FRAMED.
It’s very intentional.
And that’s ok. It’s still a good show. But it is very obvious.

It's good but it is the wokest show I've ever seen. When I saw the scene where they apologized to the patient for misgendering them I switched back to the basketball game. I can only take so much.

I agree. It hit my limit 3.5 episodes in

I hit my limit in the first episode when a woman was pushed into a train or whatever and they "suspected" a "hate crime".

That was when I quit watching it as well.
My fiance was commenting during the scene that she suspected this thing tried to commit suicide. I looked up at the screen and it took me all of two seconds to realize it was a mentally ill tranny they were trying to glorify.
I told her "that's a man. they are doing their best to make you think this is the most sophisticated person ever to grace the show".
We had a bet that if I was right, we would quit watching it because we were both getting tired of the constant woke themes.
Sure enough, I was correct and we turned it off. A few minutes later we found "Bookie" and I love that show.

So true. I was thinking the same, exact thing during that scene.

Some people simply can't or refuse to take off their political glasses for even an hour, rather watching to see how quickly they get offended so they can then bravely quit watching.

I can. I do it all the time. But as far as this show is concerned, it's the writers and producers who can't do it.

If you want to watch something Woke checkout SkyMed on Paramount+, that’s what Woke looks like. I didn’t get any over the top messaging from The Pitt, I also don’t understand how someone could watch it and come out thinking it was Woke. IMO one of the best shows I’ve watched in years.

When a show does it very intentionally it’s hard to do that. And this show did it VERY intentionally.
And that’s ok. I laughed at it each time the woke lesson was taught each episode like clockwork and still watch and thought it was a good show.
It could have been a great show if they had just attempted to be normal human beings

Watch it again. Really pay attention.
You’re going to laugh at your own comment after.
Again…still a good show which should make you mad that they felt the need to do the things they did

The other aspects don’t happen in the ER.
If real ER discussions were allowed on television, you guys would be horrified.
ER doctors are brash, crude, and politically incorrect.
I stopped watching the show after the drowning episode. I see that shite at work. I don’t bring work home with me.
