The finale was awesome. Hated to see Dana pulling pictures off her station, but it’s definitely understandable. I’m glad she didn’t say anything to Rabi.
What an intense season! Can’t wait for Season 2.

It's what she meant & uncalled for.

Just read some snippets from his Variety interview & I'm glad he waited until the series was over before that was posted as I probably wouldn't have watched it.
“I find it infuriating that we still can’t come to a consensus that masks cut down on transmission of disease. I find it infuriating that we still won’t acknowledge that vaccines are an important way of eradicating disease. I find it all infuriating that we are where we are right now. So I wanted to make a show that brings back into sharp focus what an objective medical fact is.”
Just act dude. Amazing show, though.

You aren't even a little bit correct.
Anyways... what a dang good show. Great season... they flat knocked it out of the park. Can't wait for season 2... heck, can't wait to rewatch season 1. Just one recommendation... get your crap sorted out with Crichton's estate/family/whatever and give us some ER theme music.

But he isn’t wrong. Look I am a teacher. The year we were in school and the kids wore masks was the hardest year. Couldn’t read facial expressions which is a huge part of a teacher’s toolbox to be able to figure out what’s going on with a kid. But the masks cut down on flu almost 100% in the classroom. Very few sicknesses that year. Would I go back to mandatory masks? Of course not. But you are trying to bring politics into something that isn’t political.
Do vaccines cut down on the chances of contracting a disease? Yes. Don’t let covid simply blur your ability to think rationally and clearly.

I suppose that some people can't help but look at EVERYTHING through a political lens.
"That was a good show, but had I known his stance on masks, I'd never of watched it." It's ridiculous.

I never watch them but it’s HBO so I always give them a chance. Glad I did. I absolutely loved this.

Back to the show. I binge watched it in 3 days. Wyle was so good in this.
Didn’t love Santos. Didn’t realize that was the same actress in Picard season 1.
Like Mohan’s character but thought the actress was a bit weak.
Everyone else was super solid with King obviously being one of the standouts.

Excellent season. I want a spin-off of the night shift in addition to season 2.

That is not at all what I said. I work in the healthcare industry & don't care to be preached to when I'm looking for entertainment. The article came off as he put together a show that was ramming his beliefs down my throat. That is not entertainment. However, I watched the show before seeing the article & I thought everything was well done.
But yes, if a show gets too preachy (ie Grey's Anatomy), I will certainly quit watching because I don't watch night time soap operas to get misguided medical advice.

An odd stance to take when the tv show has the nurses/doctors wearing masks maybe one or 2 times during the 100+ surgical scenarios we are shown

OK I took the time and found the dialogue. Here it is word for word:
McKay: Look. Do you know what it's like to be afraid? I mean, really truly frightened for your own physical safety?
Saunders (Boy): I'm pretty sure I got a taste of that tonight.
McKay: Right. So imagine if you felt that way every day from half the people that you meet, because that's every womans life.
I mean c'mon, that's not true, really incendiary and unnecessary. As I said, my wife even rolled her eyes at that one.
I do believe there are women out there that feel that way and that does sadden me but not every woman. And look this is a great show. Not taking anything away from it but this was just not needed and simply untrue.

I do love this show and overall its not Hollywood preachy
13 out of the 15 episodes were pretty preachy lol. But great show overall. You can afford to be preachy and get away with it when you have great acting and a great show.

And she wasn't saying every woman. Yes, she used the words "every woman", but she was being dramatic, attempting to reach the kid... because... c'mon... making a hit list of girls you want to eliminate is pretty dang messed up, and you need help. That's all she was trying to do. Reach a messed up kid.

She’s a former junkie who probably had some trauma either self induced or not. That is her perspective. It fits with what we know about her character. Do I agree with her opinion? No. But I don’t think it was this overarching political statement from the writers. She was trying to “fix” the shitshow she created.

It was unnecessary, but didn't take away from the show & I didn't think twice about it until I read it on here.
I don't care if the show had 3 illegal trans circus clowns & Hunter Biden in it, I'd have still watched it.
It's one of the best shows I've seen & the best hospital drama's I've ever watched.

She didn’t mean every woman even though she said every woman. Interesting take.
Also do we even know this kid made a hit list? He had a list of girls names and they jumped to conclusions that it was a hit list. The kid even stated it wasn’t a hit list.

So... when someone says "it's raining cats and dogs" or "it's raining it's arse off", do you check?
"They didn't mean cats and dogs even though they said cats and dogs."
SHE WAS USING THE "EVERY" FOR EMPHASIS.
Anyways, enough of that.
Shouldn't Robbie have been the one to clean up the mess anyways? HE'S the one, in the parking lot, that told the cops that "That guy had something to do with it." Yeah, she called the cops, but Robbie got him tackled and escalated the whole thing by telling the cops that.
