This movie was an hour and 58 minutes, I will see that I enjoyed an hour and 43 minutes of it. This movie did not stick the ending. It was just kind of like, here’s a thing that some people could consider a twist, and now here is the ending sequence. Movie over

Somewhere down around “The Martian.” I wouldn’t put it near Interstellar.

Agree 100%

The final 2 crew members are sitting there at the control... she gets a message on her control screen... he starts turning knobs and the credits roll .. and they keep fumbling around in the control panel...
I was like wait what? That’s it? Geez

I lost considerable interest at “discovering a new moon around Jupiter” and it just continued to go downhill. I watched well over half of it at 1.5x speed and jumped ahead through some scenes. Would not recommend.

I thought this movie was terrible, quite a bit worse than Ad Astra

Down around The Martian ?? That was a good flick. At least the science was in the ballpark of being realistic.

Been watching the Netflix series Another Life & it’s trending to be as ridiculous as Midnight Sky. A bunch of millennials / Gen Z types making the most childish & asinine mission related choices that defy explanation.

And Katie Sackhoff, who’s been stellar in some sci-fi work is in this show, for some reason.

There was too much going on in the movie. If you are going to do a space film that has a split perspective of the earth/space point of view, it needs to be around a singular goal/plot point. The Clooney perspective was just too much around his past and dealing with his own mortality and what could have been. I think this would have been a better movie if it focused on either that or the plot of the crew. Instead, you get half of each and you can't really develop all the characters and you have to rush storylines. If you are going to do flashbacks of an A-list celebrity who we all know what he looks like when he is younger, please don't pick someone who looks nothing like him.

Also, can we have one fricking space movie that doesn't involve a clever plan to slingshot around a planet. For fricks sake.

Thought it fricking sucked.

Clooney is a total global warming loon and this was just some propaganda. Nobody likes that version of you, sir. We want Danny Oceans or the captain of the Andrea Gail when we see you on screen.

These people in Hollywood apparently believe the world is going to end due to funky arse air in like 25 years if we don’t turn from our evil ways.

Gotta love the fix though. We gonna find a planet over on the backside of Saturn that’s essentially the Garden of Eden to start over...

But Coach Taylor was like nah frick that. I’m going to go fly this shuttle back into the atmosphere so I can die just like my family in the dirty air.

Would have been nice if they world have clarified whether or not there were even any people living in “the colony” or were they just going to interracially inbreed their way into a new humanity?

This movie was the only thing on while I was at a vehicle repair place and I couldn't even watch it for long.

Being netflix and how woke they are, Old white men kill themselves. New Adam and Eve is a black man and white woman. End of story.

Horrible. No idea who anyone was half the time, only paid attention when Clooney was on screen, no way he would've survived the elements after the ice breaking, didn't finish it.

They went a long way around avoiding the particulars in explaining what, who, when, where, why and how. A mention of radiation, a global map with red circles, but that's about all. I guess when everyone fled the satellite station, they were heading underground, not to any 'safe' zone, huh? Because an isolated outpost in the middle of nowhere wasn't safe from the 'what ever' event.

Terrible. I almost quit watching twice, it’s a miracle I made it through. Predictable and completely forgettable. Absolutely nothing of note happens in the entire bloated 2hr runtime.

In complete shock that they spent $100MM on this trash

ETA: y’all want a good, tense space movie in the same vein as this? Just watch Sunshine. Quarter of the budget and 100x better
