Struggling through it right now, so slow. When Augustine fell into the water, ya I don't think so. Cool little twist at the end, but about 20 min too long. So many plot holes.

From the scale of Interstellar to Ad Astra where does it fall closer to?

Another swing and a miss by Clooney. I could see the plot twist early on.

Horrible script, horrible plot. Not in the same solar system as Interstellar..

Just finished watching it and it was bad. Boring. Clooney shouldnt be directing movies.

A motivated high school kid could have written this script. Nothing new or clever.

Some nice visuals though. If you like space movies or "near future" movies to see the different visions of future technology, then I guess it's worth a watch.

I decided last night that I just don't like space movies. They are boring as hell.

This movie, like so many, had a good premise but was executed poorly. It needed about 30 minutes chopped out.

If I were a director, I would specialize in tight 90 minute movies.

This was like Ad Astra on steroids, all glitz and no substance. Nice and pretty but disappointed.

Don't. Save yourself the trouble and read a synopsis online.

Dystopian garbage. No wonder these people are miserable all the time if this is how they see the world.

The Day After Tomorrow level bad.

It wasn't great, but I don't think it was as bad as everyone here is making it out to be. But yea, the Clooney in the water scene was eye-rolling. On the Ad Astra spectrum rather than Interstellar by far.

It's like I tried to remake Interstellar without knowledge of space, filmmaking, etc.

But it's nonetheless about 10x better than WW84.

Why would the ice pack break in the dead of winter ? That made no sense to me. And tell me, how is a man, a sick man, now with out his dialysis machine, going to dive 20 feet deep into arctic water, then climb out, by himself, not get frost bite, or die of hypothermia? His only 'shelter' was to dig a trench and huddle up, with out any dry clothes, and then just walk it off the next day?

F you, movie.

In the middle of watching this right now, just got to the part where the little girl came upon Clooney after the snowstorm. Could low-key could probably crack the bottom part of my top 10 best movies of the year list. Very entertaining, strong acting from everybody involved
