Same, but bringing back her character was a bad idea to begin with. I had seen a scene or two when she was able to get a gig, but bringing her back as such a diva that she doesn't even know how to work an elevator was turrible.
Maybe they'll explain it later as her having dementia?

You're probably right. But they did need another client to distract Susie from Midge.

One of my wife's best friend from high school is in it this season. She plays Mitzi. She's been on screen here and there but mostly does Broadway (on and off) Musicals. She sang at our wedding. Her parents and my wife's parents are best friends. Their whole family is musically talented. Pretty cool to see her on a really popular show.

Lynch is killing it. So is Abe and Joel. Midge’s plot of continued failure is getting stale. They liven things up.

Agreed. I was a big fan of seeing her succeed. I'm not a fan of seeing her constantly fail. My guess is she will end up purchasing the jiggle club or she'll get her on TV show with NBC or someone else.

Who doesn’t like Jane Lynch? She’s great

It reminds me of Silicon Valley. They can't succeed until the end (or near the end) because it changes the dynamics between the characters, the chemistry that made the show work. I don't think Miriam can appear on a national talk show and go on a headlining tour until the end of the series.

I thought it was awesome when Lenny called her out on her bullshite at the end of the episode. I really enjoy their dynamic but I worry it would be spoiled if they worked more of it into the show.

How have her and Lenny not nailed?

These final four episodes have been as strong as one can hope. Between this and Upload, Amazon has really nailed these two series in 2022.

I always think of this when i see her

The debacle that happened when Midge opened for Sophie on Sophie's TV show was not referenced by anyone. Sophie didn't appear again.

My wife and I constantly quote the “You know what I had for breakfast? Cocaine.” line.

Fixed and with some sizzling chemistry.
Both the last two episodes were fantastic.

Suzie, Abe, and Sophie are stealing show from Midge.
Agreed.
Midge has been fairly unlikeable this season.
For as moving as the bathroom scene with Shy was, it felt so out of place with the whole revenge theme of the season. It made no sense. She went from hating Shy and thinking she did nothing wrong for months to apologizing and copping to a mistake she’d never admitted even to herself. Wait...what? And then she turned down the money?

But, I do love the Joel and Mai storyline. That might be a lot of fun.
Meh. I don’t care for Mei at all. She feels like a knockoff Midge.
The only thing I liked about their storyline was Joel’s mom trying to set him up with different women, and that didn’t really have anything to do with Mei.
