looking forward to seeing more Mandalore history

I think of the stories of Boba Fett's history that are relegated to Legends status now, and chuckle at the thought that the Empire was just fine with people across the galaxy believing the Mandalorians were extinct for centuries.

Bo Katan got some of that old time religion when she saw that Mythosaur.

Watch that last step Din... it's a doozy.

Any takers on how he's going to prove he did it? The Armorer is gonna be all,, "Jesus, dude. It was a joke. We didn't think you'd do it."

Yea I was wondering how he got down there so fast. Did he get pulled in? When Bo went to rescue him from that alien creature, I thought for sure that’s how she’d get the dark Sabre back. She’d roll up on that alien creature that had Din captive, said creature would grab the Sabre during the fight, Bo would best him and BOOM goes the dynamite! But I guess too much for an early episode and saving that for a big showdown.

Oh, and one thing that bothered me. So everyone just took it as gospel that the planet was poisoned and unsustainable for life? You’re telling me not ONE person thought of sending a droid to test the atmosphere?

I don’t think he was pulled down. One of two things happened I think. Either his armor is that heavy and sunk like a damn iron ball or that water has magic qualities and yanked his arse down there so he and Bo would see that mythosaur and bring Mandalore back to its rightful place.

Some at Lucasfilm should take notes from this episode on how you develop a strong female character. Bo Kataan was awesome. Her development from Clone Wars through now has been great.

Bo definitely wants some Mando dong and I’m all about it.

I hope S3 going forward we see a lot more of Bo. Love me some Katie Sackoff.

Outstanding episode.

The frick was the droid/cyborg thing that attacked Dinn first? Looked some Grevious looking thing. And what was the thing that dragged him under?

That’s what we were hoping for too. But seeing Bo grab it and kick that cyborgs arse was pretty cool. She’s definitely better with it than Mando.

I was hoping that as the creature beat Mando and she defeated the creature that would give her the Dark Saber….but I think that’ll be in the next episode if they fight the mythosaur.

For some reason male writers can write better strong female characters than women. Women writers just want to write their women characters as females with male characteristics.

The first time Bo got the Dark Saber Sabine gave it to her and everyone followed. So I think the same thing will happen with Mando giving it to her and she becomes their leader.

They won’t follow her again unless she wins it in combat. Mando offered it to her at the end of season 2 but she didn’t accept it.

Her and Mando will not fight over it. Not his style but he will find a way for her to earn it to once again rule. She could have left him for dead and took it. No one would know she did not beat him in combat.

Again just my opinion since happened already

Solid episode, much better than the first one. Grogu didn’t feel like he was just there because he is part of the show, he actually played a role in the plot.

The next few episodes should be great, I feel like they are setting up some great stuff!

Great episode, a big change from ep 1. That one had me worried that the juice had run out of the series.

So. Bo Katan saw the mythosaur, and those bubbles from her helmet surely meant to show it affected her.
And technically, she's bathed in the living waters beneath the mines, too... so I guess she could also be considered redeemed?
The way this whole episode played out, her having to save Mando twice and being led straight to the mythosaur, you certainly can make a case for it being "meant to be". That seems like the sort of tale that would inspire the Armorer and her followers.

Oh, and I followed it up by watching perhaps the best episode of Bad Batch yet. Huge change from the previous stuff they had been doing.

Last week was good with Zillo beast 2.0, but I think BB is best when it shifts the attention away from the main group. Crosshair in particular has the best episodes.

Episode two and we already get a mythosaur siting. Hot damn!

I’m very impressed with how quickly the show is moving along and advancing the plot. I thought it would take most of the season to be where we currently are.

Am I the only one getting a weird almost 80s stop motion vibe from some of the CG this season? Some of the bits tonight really reminded me of Stan Winston’s work on Terminator and The Thing.
