Did Boba ever take off his helmet in the movies? Maybe Jengo did but I don't ever recall seeing Boba's face, other than as a child.
Never saw Boba's face in live action until now. We saw Jango in episode II (same actor as Boba now)

No he didn’t.
On another note, Joe Chill from Batman Begins wasn’t very convincing as an imperial officer. That dude should always play a bum, a drunk, or a druggie.

What an episode.
Tie Fighters as saviors then Slave 1 fodder.
Din wrecking shop in mine trooper armor only.
Din’s Helmet complex.
Mayfield’s boiling point.
So many details worth mentioning.
Is this the first episode where we don’t see the baby?

They would know his armor for sure. But I get the sense that he was making a reference to his face and the clone troopers.
100% a clone reference more than him taking jobs for the Empire. The facial scan would recognize him as a clone, probably deny him access. At this point I think clones are long gone from the Empire and some were New Republic officers like Rex.

Bill Burr with the TPS reports reference made me lol

You mean the OG Night King/Kingsman interrogator?

The little details in this show are great. Like Mando getting hurt because he tried body blocking the blows from those staffs in the stormtrooper armor like he would with his beskar armor.

There were never any movies after we initially saw Boba as a child. He is shown without his helmet a lot in the clone wars.
Jango Fett is seen without his helmet in Episode 2.

My god. They brought the seismic charges back! My erection can only grow so hard. That was beautiful as frick.
Damn cool episode.

We got a little "colonizers" snippet in there.
I got to say, I've been rather disappointed in the lack of species. The same was true of the Disney sequels. They had far too many humans involved.

Decent episode, not great. Things like the sonic charges don't really do it for me, since even this random episode is better than that entire movie.
The half hour episodes are not allowing for full development of stories and characters. I hope the finale is a long one, and I hope they go back to longer episodes next season.

I think Mayfield will eventually join Mando’s squad full time.
Also, how fricking random is it that that glorious cynical bastard Bill Burr that goes on the most epic cerebral therapeutic angry rants of all time winds up being a moral compass on a Star Wars show. I mean.... HOW?!?

burr is fantastic. i love his comedy but totally underestimated his acting for that reason. I doubted belief of serious roles for that reason but I love his persona in the high stakes mission shite like the prison break episode and this one.
eta - was also suprised he went off on his own instead of joining up with mando squad, hopefully he stays involved.

Goes back to Vince Gilligan's theory that funny people can do serious better than serious actors can do funny. And he used Burr in Breaking Bad.

Why? There were/are plenty of imperial officers. Some are going to intimidating. Some are going to be incompetent. Some are going to be losers.

The scene with Mayfield and the officer was incredible.
