It wasn’t my favorite ship but was growing on me.

Would like to see the ghost on camera.

Marksman

Speaking of Marksman, was that not the most accurate shooting Stormtroopers in the history of the Star Wars franchise? All those shots bouncing off of the Beskar.

I get why he'd destroy the ship but wouldn't Gideon want to know where Mando is because he has to know he'll come for the kid

I’m not saying force chocking = person being closer to the dark side. But Jedi are supposed to keep their emotions under control and not succumb to something like force chocking somebody. If they can’t, it can indicate their emotional tendencies.

Ahoska indicated he was a bit too attached and emotional.

Well, he WAS captured by people who have experimented on him once and want to again. I'd say a little force-choking is in order.

Gideon seemed pretty dismissive of the Mando last season. He's got a big ego. Strange bc he's obviously familiar with the culture. Will be interesting to see how he reacts when he eventually meets up with Bo Katan.

Force choking is one of his only options right now. You want his first words to be, "this is not the child you are looking for"?

Plus, he's not a jedi knight. Probably never even made it to padawan.

from the exact moment he chose to leave it behind i was like WTF obviously he wont be able to be as quick as he needs to be soon. he doesnt deserve grogu as a ward with that smooth brain move

Disappointed that a Jedi didn't show up given that they made it to Tython so quickly, but not surprised.

Baby Grogu was sitting on that rock for a while and was clearly communicating with someone.

I'm guessing they'll show up in the finale to help bring him back.

I think it was more of mando 'tanking' than them being marksmen. they used a mortar, mounted turret blaster, what seemed like 50+ troopers who never hit anything else. I don't even think boba got hit once in his armor as he nutsacked 30 troopers.

Given that the Razor Crest is toast, I have to wonder if Boba bites it and Mando gets the Slave 1 ship?

Yep, my thought is that Boba has another possible death where it's not sure if he's dead or not. That way Mando gets Slave 1.

That was done so Mando couldn't use his jet pack to chase after the Dark Troopers.

Duh, just seemed like very out of character for mando to leave such a useful tool behind especially when the sniper and boba picked their shite up. Plus he had remote controls for it in a prior episode he could’ve had it at any time. Just seems like too big of an error when his mindset was ‘we gotta get out of here’ the whole time.

This is my biggest and only gripe so far in the show lol.

That cruiser isn't anything. It holds two or three tie fighters depending on the tie configuration, has a crew of 100, and could carry a few hundred stormtroopers. Their main purpose was transport ships. They were never warships.

By comparison, Star Destroyers had a crew of 30 thousand and also held 10+ thousand stormtroopers, dozens of ties, ATAT and ATST walkers. A single Star Destroyer is a threat to a system.

If a command cruiser is Moff Gideon's flag ship it means his remnant is not that well supplied, and is not much of a threat

Well, keep in mind that the Empire didn't totally go away, they reorganized under Thrawn and reduced reach. I think the idea is that the Empire was outside of their known control sphere but with a light cruiser, not a scout. They are expanding.

Also, Moffs are primarily political figures. The extent of their military presence are generally small units that they have command over to defend the systems they are over.

I think a light cruiser is probably right for a Moff, except maybe for a Grand Moff, and if Moffs with light cruisers are around it's probably a decent suggestion that the Empire is becoming organized again.

It would've been more impressive to see a star destroyer for sure.

How magical is the Beskar? An entire ship and its contents reduced to ash by that heavy cannon except for the 2 things made of Beskar.

I'm not well-versed in Mandalorian lore but apparently it's really damn magical against energy weaponry

It’s supposed be one of (if not) the toughest metals in the galaxy. Not sure how accurate it is, but read that because it’s so expensive and rare that most mandos made armor by adding it to durasteel and other metals. Din’s is pure beskar, like I imagine the ball and spear were.

It’s lightsaber resistant so I can easily see it surviving being blown up in a ship by a laser that big.

The reason he has the sphere is to confront Gideon with the Dark Saber.
