The scene early on with the old woman in the wheelchair spazzing out in the background was creepy.

Mrs TTown (No pics) said "Nope!" and stood up to walk out the room. I had to calm her down

Mercy tried to warn them. Our dogs always try to warn us about zombies.

But do we listen? Noooooooo

I did think it was a little strange that after such a huge time jump (20 years) society wasn’t more back to normal than it was.

2 reasons.

1.Same time jump in the game.

2. The infection has no cure, it can't be created. It's not like a virus that we could eventually develop immunity for. It's a fungus that attaches to a host, taking over its brain and motor functions with one goal: spread by any means necessary.

You can see that the military tried to contain the spread by bombing the major cities, and it kept on spreading anyway.

Also, unlike traditional zombies, the infected aren't dead. They can be killed, but they are still contagious after death (in the game, they release airborne spores after death).

Still surprised not many liked Tess character. Anna from Fringe. I immediately recognized that voice when she came on.

I’m assuming those things turn you on. Imagine if it was a Asian downsy trans. The diversity would set it off for you woke socialists.

I mean the girl is 19 in real life so I don't understand why everyone is freaking out saying she looks weird. She looked weird in GOT, too.

went to wikipedia to see what Bella Ramsey has been up to since GoT and of course there is a line in her page about being non-binary and that she uses all pronouns. LOL....LFG

Man that was a good pilot. I am not a zombie movie/show guy at all. I've never watched a single episode of TWD or really any zombie movies. It's just not my thing. But this is HBO and my buddy who is a big video game guy said this was his favorite video game story of all time, so I was actually looking forward to this for quite a while. It didn't disappoint that's for sure.

They did a really good job in building up emotion in a short time to make you care about the loss of Joel's daughter. That girl was a fantastic kid actress, I couldn't place her from anything else but it she did a great job.

I was hesitant about the Bella Ramsey hire, and I know it's only one episode, but I think she is going to be fine. I think I can get her Game of Thrones character out of my head.

When the show started off with the scientist talking and one minute in the guy said "it could, if the planet gets warmer". The first thing that popped in my head was that there were probably going to be people on TD immediately going "WOKE F**KING BS SHOW HBO IS LYING ABOUT THE NUMBERS AND RATINGS".

the death of Joel's daughter truly is the catalyst of who he is and it's such a powerful moment.

That scene actually hit harder for me yesterday being a father now. My wife actually scolded me saying that scene was tough to watch and i should have warned her.

Haha definitely gives vibes of the preacher that fights against gay marriage in every sermon and then is discovered to have had a 20 year affair with a man.

I got the same scolding for not letting her know about the red wedding as I did for not warning her what was coming last night.

I could tell my wife was getting invested in her and I said "I'm pretty sure she's not going to make it. She's not the star of the show and he ends up being the protector for another teenage girl who is the star of the show."

I'm glad most of the buzz is positive because this show has really grabbed me. The plot foundation that they laid out with the fungi leading to the Zombie Apocalypse feels as simple yet mind blowing an idea as the Machines using us as batteries.

The CP in his name stands for Child Predator, not Chris Paul.

So why is everyone all of a sudden saying the opposite?

I know because it fits their agenda.
