A medieval #metoo movie.. no thanks

It was not really woke at all and stays true to its history. A knight’s wife claims to have been raped by a squire her husband had a long time feud with. It was portrayed well anD from each’s view point.

Edited for fricking typos

You are correct. Hollywood makes movies to make money. If people didn’t pay money for more comic book movies and reboots, they wouldn’t make them.

It’s not Hollywood’s fault. It’s the audience.

This will only last if audiences start attending movies in theaters again.

Not just once.

From what I’ve read. Halloween kills looks like a garbage follow up to the excellent reboot.

Speaking of running shite into the ground, how many times are we gonna kill Michael Meyers before he dies of old age?

That video starts with the guy saying Halloween Kills probably would have made $100 million of it didn't have the day and date Peacock release, before confirming no time to die a failure after it globally out-grossing both 2021 marvel movies and becoming the second highest earner of 2021 after 3 weeks in theaters. He then calls movies set in the past "time period" pieces, and he openly admits to not seeing the movie he's slamming.

This probably isn't the guy you should be going to for your movie and box-office analysis. Because he's a fukking idiot.

Why would I show up to support a film that did not look good from the trailer?

Sucks that it turned out to be hot garbage.

Agreed. Like naming a movie something stupid. If they can't even get that right, no chance I am watching.

Nice. It's a movie that tells men what is wrong with them. Why wouldn't they want to go?

It’s like the movie “ vantage point” set in 1386

Feels like they filmed 1/3 of a movie and just rearranged it and tweaked a little here and there to form the entire thing

Does being historically accurate about a subject no one knows anything about matter?

I saw it sunday night. It was about 30 min too long. Found myself falling asleep in the middle of the movie. The rape scene was quite uncomfortable especially since it was shown 2 times. I'm a ridley scott fan, but this was def not his best work. 2/5 stars

After reading the summary there was no way I would take my wife to a see this.

Relationships are difficult enough without having to take on the emotional baggage of repeatedly watching an alleged rape.

I mean Jesus Christ. What do we do after the movie? Sit in silence before sleeping in separate beds? Get into a big argument about whether she was a big liar or he was just a predator? frick off
