This. I liked Far From Heaven but #20? I see where we're going here

No country for old men, there will be blood, dark knight, return of the king, the departed, the revenant, wolf of Wall Street are all better than anything on this woke garbage of a list. There’s like 7 movies on there that I like and they’re only ok. Get out as the 10th best movie made since the year 2000 is all I need to know about this list.

I just read the plot to this. What a freaking dredge of a plot.

I don’t see Inherent Vice and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood on there. List is shite.

TDK should, at a minimum, be Top 12 or thereabouts.

Bridesmaids but not The Hangover??

I actually give them a little credit for placing the mediocre Get Out at 10 instead of 1 and not listing Broke Back Mountain. Gladiator, Dark Knight (instead of Black Panther), Lord of War, Blackhawk Down, Hurt Locker, Old Boy, Sin City, In Bruges, Donnie Darko, Requiem for a Dream, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, The Pianist, Collateral, Royal Tennanbaums, Adaptation, The Lives of Others, Memento, There Will Be Blood, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Hero, City of God, Let the Right One In, No Country for Old Men, Spirited Away, and LOTR trilogy seem like omissions. Can't tell for sure because i haven't seen most of that list.

In fairness, few people have. This list highlights the staggering disconnect between critics and mainstream audiences.

Black Panther (a movie I genuinely enjoy and have rewatched) on there over Iron Man or End Game/Infinity War lets me know how seriously to take this list.
This exactly. I guarantee you the people who make this list don't actually like watching Black Panther, just felt they had to put it on the list somewhere.

I’ve seen 23 movies on that list and only disliked 4 of the 23 that I've watched.
However the list is absurd because it tries to hard to be obscure (and again, this is coming from someone who really likes Y Tu Mama Tambien/ 4 Months, 3 Weeks, 2 Days/The Death of Mr. Lazareascu/ Mulholland Drive).
The list had zero movies from Scorsese, Tarantino, or Spielberg, only Inside Llewyn Davis from the Coen Brothers, and only two from Fincher. That's hard to take seriously.

It has Brokeback #7.

I have seen four of those.
Either I am clueless or Hollywood is. I’m thinking the latter.

This list reads like The Hollywood Reporter is based out of S.F.
This list reads like the Hollywood Reporter is too gay, even for SF

Where the frick is Whiplash. Should be #1. Obligatory “frick Birdman” for stealing the Oscar.

Gladiator
The Lord Of The Rings trilogy
Whiplash
All better than most of this list.

I've seen this one. Talk about lost in translation. I suggest seeing this and then googling it to see how it was advertised in Romania. I'd bet the size between your perception and how this was portrayed there is a gulf.
