Will Ferrell golf series. I had low expectations from the previews, but I think it's pretty funny. I watched 3 episodes last night. Decent cast... Jimmy Tatro, Molly Shannon, Fortune Feimster, and Luke Wilson
Lonnie Hawkins, 2004's number one golfer, struggles on the back nine of his career to recapture his magic. His body says retire, but his heart says he's not done yet. His ex-wife and his son Lance, golf's new golden boy, know he's through. But with one more major to win to complete golf's Grand Slam, Lonnie refuses to believe he's anything other than one stroke away from the greatest comeback in golf history.

I couldn’t even finish the first episode. I love Ferrell but this is really bad. His “son” is one terrible actor.

Fortune stole the show. Son can't act. Talks like has marbles in mouth. Molly Shannon's cannons looked good.

I enjoyed it. I usually hate shows around characters that try to use the fact they are unrepentant douchebags as the central comedy theme. Eastbown and down, Michael Scott first season on the office etc. But Will Ferrell's character was all that bad. I enjoyed it. i miss 25 minute short episodes. Everything doesn't have to be an 75 minute drama every episode.

I went in thinking I was going to hate it but I didn’t hate the first two episodes and chuckled a few times.
The thong song montage was so dumb it was funny. It’s not old Will Ferrell good but every now and then you get a few moments. The son is definitely the worst part, just an awful actor.
Just two episodes in but certainly better than the Apple golf comedy Stick. I think that is the only Apple show I didn’t finish after starting.

Will Ferrell along with Ben Stiller has not been funny in years.

Will is funnier when he is just free styling naturally. Ben Stiller, unlike his father, is just not that funny, to me. Most of his roles were just plug and play with any actor.

Wow is this bad. I too made it almost to end of episode 1 and just gave up on any redeeming value.
