Didn’t ask for a pic but I know you’re a body positivity guy so congrats

Exactly the same, inverted morality, showing you the exact opposite of what they tell you.

I think that is just an example of Aaron Paul's British accent coming through. He tries to hide it, but I've heard it slip through multiple times this season.
I've never heard anything that sounds like "axe" from a Brit. I went back to make sure I wasn't hearing things, and he says it twice in about 5 seconds. You might could argue the first but the second is definitely "axe". I think he did it in the first or second episode as well.

As in, we should pay attention to what's actually on screen and not to what the one writer who only wrote one episode says on podcasts?

Your recent obsession with this particular nonsense phrase is fascinating. Is this a Peter Griffin thing? Repeat repeat repeat and one day it will finally sound smarter?

Wrong and wrong.
First point- I’m talking about what’s on screen.
Second point- you can’t understand the comment, you don’t have the faculties to so take a powder on that one.

She looks like Daniel Cormier.

Just checking in to say him saying axe was hilarious.
Either the show felt the need to make an eloquent, accomplished black man sound dumb unintentionally to remind us he was black
OR
Even a trained actor, from a different country, with a different accent, who speaks for a living, cant overcome the impenetrable curse of a three letter, one syllable word haha. And if it’s that one, wow, th implication are wild

And nobody else involved in the process, from while he was filming to the editing room to test screenings, ever noticed it. The dozens (at least) people whose job it is to make this the best show possible didn't pick up on the fact that he flubbed a line, but casual viewers did on their first watch. Oopsies!

There are many folks like that writer that are just wholly consumed by race. That is all they think about all day and all night. They can do anything without thinking about how race plays a part in it. They are analyzing each and every word that comes out of your mouth. They are not listening to what you say, but the words you say and how they can be racial. Each action, how someone looks at someone or doesn't look at someone. These people are absolutely exhausting and they lead a pitiful life.

And yet they keep getting hired.
What does that tell us about the people doing the hiring?

She's the type of black woman who thinks that white men are racists just because they're white. The quotes below show that it doesn't matter to her if you have real relationships with black people. Middle aged white men are racists just for existing.
quote:
“They’re like, why you making him a racist? No, I’m making him a 60-year-old dude. I think that he is in the way that 60-year-old White dudes from the south can be, but wouldn’t think they are, because they golf with a black dude who they f**king love and would leave money in their will to.”
quote:
"I can look at Hal's microaggressions and still be like, yeah, he's got some racist tendencies because he's a man of a certain age that grew up in a certain time and place, but I also feel like he probably f**ks aliens in other places."

She was the sister on Keenan and Kel. Knew her face looked familiar.

I mean, i've heard it before. I just went back to listen as well. He said it very normally, and not in some black Ebonics slang.

If there’s a reason why this show is so abysmal, you don’t have to look very far to understand why. It’s made for a certain group of people by a certain group of people and literally everybody else can frick off. This is why they fail.
Writers and actors of the show spell out explicitly what they were thinking when the show was being developed. Has less to do with actual Green Lantern lore and everything to do with current day politics. Insufferable doesn’t begin to describe this mess. And once again, I’m not the one making this political, they did!
Interview breaks down the nuts & bolts of what the creators were thinking.
