That might be the most cringey thing I have ever watched.

5 minutes into the documentary I looked at Mrs. iwy and said that I hate this girl.

The video of her driving 100 into the building was pretty sad. Probably a pretty horrifying last few moments of those two boys lives.

When she walked into the interview room looking all “cash me outside”, I was not shocked.

Im surprised the defense attorney didn’t talk her out of a bench trial. Juries love to let women walk. I’m still not 100% convinced she intended suicide and death, but she certainly had psycho moments and that was one of them.

Whenever it first showed them, the Mom was trying so hard to produce a tear whenever she found out that Dom was dead, but she was doing such a horrible job on camera, pretending to cry. Like others have said, once she got in front of the judge and was speaking, it was hard to believe what I was hearing

And on the podium at the sentencing... and on the documentary. She was not sad at all, she was just dumb as a bag of rocks. That judge ate her lunch and I loved it.

I wonder if Netflix had any footage of her parents that would make the audience sympathetic to them. Literally everything was cringe inducing.

It's his princess and she doesn't do anything wrong. The daughter knows it and takes full advantage of her dad. Usually the mom can see through the bullshite but she's also trying to be the cool mom and be friends with her daughter instead of being her parent.

I just watched it. They did leave out the part about her driving the route ahead of time to "practice." I thought that was important but oh well. Nobody has mentioned the part about dangling the necklace and speaking to the dead. That was hard to watch and not laugh.

I think she went psycho and was like "frick you I'll crash this car right now," but I don't think she really wanted to kill herself. She's entirely too vain and narcisstic for that.

Her attorney was terrible. Her parents make bad decisions, so I'm not surprised that they picked a shitty attorney. But it worked out for the best and she got the conviction and jail time that she deserved.

She didn't seem remorseful at all. I think she may be a sociopath.

Cool with their kid doing weed.
Cool with their 13 year old dating a 17 year old (do the math of how old they were and how long they'd been dating).
Cool with their 17 year old living with a 20 year old.
Mom completely out of touch with reality in front of the court.

Sounds like the half episode of the euphoria pilot I tried to watch

I was fairly shocked at how low rent the people were. Lower than a trailer park. No one is going to college, open drug use on social media by a minor, a minor living with a 20 year old instead of her parents, parents who are okay with their kids being complete losers. Hopefully this show is just reflective of Strongsville, OH and not the nation at large.

I’d like to see how she’s adapting to prison life.

A girl who was in prison with her put out a video saying that she has displayed zero remorse for the death of the two boys, her parents are subsidizing her stay with all the amenities allowed, she has earned more than 30 disciplinary writeups, and she has learned to enjoy the company of ladies.

The judge ran her sentences concurrent instead of consecutive so it is likely that the parole board will view that as a major break and not give her another one soon. I would not be surprised if she spends the next thirty years in prison.

wondering how much of that thug accent she picked up in prison or if that was already there prior. In the prison interview she gave she sounded trashy af. Wouldn’t bank on her ever becoming a functioning member of society

Spoilers:

When that guy was pretending to spell out the word “love” on the Ouija board thingy, that was extremely cringe to me and that stupid psychopath bitch was pretending that she was bawling her eyes out…. At that point, I was thinking to myself she literally deserves to rot in jail.

The fact that the accelerator was pushed all the way down up until the moment of impact was the absolute game changer, there’s really no defense away from that. If she had passed out from that bullshite blood pressure conditioned “POTS” she snd her parents claim as she had, her foot would’ve let off the gas pedal, and the car would’ve slowed down even for a little bit.

Nope. 100% full whiskey throttle.

Biggest fail was not requesting a jury. No way they couldn’t make a jury seem more sympathetic to a young girl. That decision made zero sense to me.

McKenzie definitely became more hood/urban in jail. She didn’t seem like that before. More just spoiled, entitled, etc.

Overall, not sure what her goal or motive was in the crash. Kill herself along with Dom? No way, in my mind you think you would survive that and others wouldn’t. She was batshit crazy tho.

Like others have said, nothing was revealed of any search history before or after the crash which leads me to think it wasn’t premeditated or a cover up was in order. I’m sure that was looked at with a warrant.

Parents are a big part of the problem. Without a shadow of a doubt tho? I didn’t see enough proof. Again, no way a jury finds her guilty. Big drop of the ball in that decision.

There are some videos on YouTube that show that this was a premeditated crime. They left this out for some reason. I guess this could be left up to interpretation though.

The documentary didn't show it, but I've seen some stuff saying she was at that road multiple times in the weeks prior. It was out of her way to be in that area of town. So sounds likely she was scoping out what she wanted to do. It's not 100% proof, but odd none the less.

Don't think you have to put spoilers on there, i doubt anybody is reading to page two if they don't want spoilers.

I have to say, she probably had the worst defense attorney in history. If she had some illness that caused her to blackout she should have had a medical examiner/doctor or someone up there willing to say that she is actually diagnosed with that and with that illness you could possibly pass out and her foot could stay on the accelerator. I mean I 100% wouldn't believe it but at least do something better than have her mom up there saying "Yes she has Pots."

Her defense attorney was so bad but she deserved nothing better.

Means absolutely nothing. It’s not like thats the only road in the town to build up speed and run into a building. Her and Dom were not only into drugs, but actual pot dealers. They could’ve been going to that area to buy or sell or multiple other reasons.

I’m not defending the girl but I still struggle with reasonable doubt and any jury in America would do the same. It takes a really incompetent attorney to blow that case.
