The MJ/Pippen bit was so odd, almost seemed forced

Saw a FB video pop up on my feed from Bloodlines (comparing last week’s challenge to the water challenge that season) and got me thinking what happened to Vince?

There were some decent bloodline folks who haven’t been around much. Naturally, the duds like Nicole keep coming around

He competed with Jenna (Rivals III maybe?) but that was it.

How many of the bloodlines even made a second appearance? Vince, Nicole, Shane (lol), didn't Cara Maria's cousin do another season?

Apparently Bananas and his girl are still dating. They were together in NY a few weeks ago together.

I like Brad cuz he is old school but the dude is crazy. Hope he stays around to make it fun.

Because he’s in the Troika every week.

It worked out pretty well for Derek and Jordan last season. After last season I don’t know why anybody wouldn’t ally with him. His entire clique coasted til the end while the Corey/Nelson crew had to kill each other in eliminations.

Good point.

If you could be in the bottom of Bananas' alliance, or the top of the usurper alliance, which would you choose?

One is an almost sure thing of the top 5 or 6 guys, but then you know you are going up against some tough competition.

On the other side, you might only get one shot at taking down Bananas, better not miss, or you'll be battling every week.

bottom of Bananas' alliance

Cory is regretting doing the opposite by now.

Tony is proving why it's good to be with Bananas. You make it far staying off the radar because the young bucks are all gunning for Bananas (who somehow is always on the troika).

Regardless, you have to perform when your number is called.

If I remember correctly didn’t Corey actually side with Bananas in his first season on Bloodlines? Then Corey backstabbed him towards the end?

He is doing a great job setting himself up for the next season of Rivals.

If you're going to go after Bananas you not only have to have numbers, but you have to have someone with a legit chance of winning each week's challenge because John and his crew will place high every week.

If you remember when Roided Wes used to against John he would swirl up a group of young idiots to for his eliminations and Wes would either place highly in weekly challenges or tale out someone eliminations all while still playing a smart game.

When Wes had An actual top tier teammate like CT, they won the whole thing.

Even with Kenny on Rivals 1 (who did awful that year), they won. Of course without Kenny literally carrying him up the mountain in the final they lose.

Looking back, though, it's amazing, John ever lost challenge period with him Evan and Kenny all being not only in an alliance but lock step bros.

That combo was essentially bulletproof, except for the one man army that was CT.

And that was during the peak roid/insanity days of the mid-late 00's

I agree that was a hell of an alliance. Only Landon or CT could take them on individually.

This is the most important thing IMO. I think gunning for John and his alliances can be the smart move, but you absolutely HAVE to be good if you do it.

You have people like Devin talking shite about trying to take him out, but Devin isn't ever gonna be in any sort of power position very often because he's not very good at this stuff. If people were smart, they team up with some of these Brits who can actually play and are athletic. Team up with someone like Joss or that tatted up dude and start from there. Once you have the numbers AND you have a good chance at the Troika, then you can make some real moves.

Also would help to align with the strong girls who aren't loyal to John, of which there are few. Start with Nicole and go from there. That way you're covered from that angle too.

Bump for game day and the revelation of the NOTE WRITER.

The cast on Twitter states this is a big deal and they don’t even know who it was.

i've noticed (and i dont have specific examples so this post sucks) that no one, including people that are supposedly against bananas, ever throws him in early when it's actually a smart move.

you'll have a random time when someone good gets sent into elimination very early and it's a perfect chance to send bananas in as well. you have, say, a 30% chance that he goes home very early. they never do it, though.

Yea idk why. Bananas isn't even good in Eliminations so he would be very likely to lose to a strong player. He's awesome at the political game and amazing at finals but one one one eliminations he tends to struggle

It feels like something from a challenge 10 yrs ago... Like the stupid "wrote a rap about me" shite that happened a while back...

Maybe it is John and he's feeling a little nostalgic now that's he's single and all. Who knows, but it is dumb.

Man, that elimination didn’t look safe to me. Seemed like a good way for someone to get cut after smashing through the glass and falling to the ground

That had to be some sturdy glass to hold the weight of that water and the player
