I’m ok with an “equalizer” but that was bullshite. And if you’re going to do one at least announce it.
The format for this season has so much potential, but the teams they put together are absolute shite. And now they’re doubling down on their frick up by trying to make it fair.

I fell asleep while watching it last night so I missed the last ten minutes or so. Sounds like typical bullshite with them fricking over the guy to make things “even” going against a girl. shite like that makes me want to tune out.
They’ve already fricked with the format so much that the show is nothing like it used to be (and I realize they have to in order to keep the players on their toes), but at least they’ve managed to keep it relatively fresh and interesting. If their next move is to try to make it an even playing field between men and women they may lose me, because you can’t simply force that into happening without unfair bullshite.
I do kinda like the voting thing though. How whomever gets voted it gets to choose out of the people who voted for them. That’s kinda cool. I just hope they don’t throw too many twists in there to where it gets annoying. It’s bad enough that I already know that the season will end disappointingly (thanks to the fricking a-hole who felt the need to brag about knowing the outcome and ruining that for the rest of us). Hopefully it will be entertaining. The last couple of seasons have been.

I love the way they are choosing elimination teams this season. I’ve always felt that if you choose a team or player for elimination, you better be willing to go against them. It keeps scrubs from teaming up on good players like CT and eliminating him without having to do anything.
The unequal amount of bands was bullshite. Cam was standing my the cage just chilling and Paulie couldn’t even stand up hardly.

Yeah as bad as Veronica is I expect her and CT to rarely, if ever, get voted in since nobody will want to potentially let CT choose them to face in elimination.

Right. Once TJ announced the system for this season, CT went from a layup team to favorite instantly because no one will want to face him in an elimination regardless of his slob partner.

The new “twists” are interesting and needed. The nominations prior to this season became a joke.

This is where I am at with this season. In general I really like the secret voting and elimination changes they have made but the entire season is a joke with the pairings. I just don't see how the coed teams vs non coed teams can make for interesting or fair eliminations.
ETA the redemption house needs to come to a conclusion asap and they need to get back to the regular pace each episode. Ideally each episode would have a challenge/elimination

I don't think CT is necessarily safe if the eliminations are either puzzles or so stacked against men that it becomes comical. People will wait and see how the eliminations are going down. If the men are continuing to get smoked by the women, then why not take a shot at CT or Joss or Zach with their weak female partners.

Otherwise, it'll be challenges where either they have some physical parts combined with mental, like last night. Then they can also "level" the playing field like they did with Paulie vs Kam, which was silly.
On some level, CT's physical prowess is going to be diminished as we won't see just one of those knockdown, dragout, physical beating type of challenges I'm guessing.

I’ll add that as much as I do like the Armageddon setup, I think it would behoove them to do a season where the voting is completely anonymous and is never revealed. That would instantly drive up the entertainment level in the house with people freaking the frick out trying to figure out who voted for whom.
I guess we’ll still get a little bit of that since they are apparently only showing who voted for the people who went in. But still, an entire season of anonymous voting could be epic.

This season should be a freaking blast. I’m learning to like Kam just cause she’s such a monster. Kayleigh will cost her at the end of the day, but I can’t wait to see Kam in a final someday down the line. She’s become less obnoxious the more you see her too. They obviously adjusted the bungees to compensate for weight. It seemed they took it a little far or Kam is just that much of a monster.
Natalie is hot and them fake titties are nice, but Johnny looked like he took 4 years off her life, and I can’t stand how much of an attention whore she is with this whole lesbian thing. Far be it from me to call someone a liar on their sexuality, but she reeks of loving attention more than men or women.
ETA: won’t miss Natalie. But her and Melissa gone so early is a little bit of a bummer for the eyes.

Pretty sure that’s how’s the voting was done on Cutthroat except that it was your own team voting you in. I wish they would bring back that format but for some reason they don’t like the big team challengers anymore.

As you guys have said Paulie got screwed over his bands were much tougher than they should've been. I do like the secret voting and then it being revealed. Giving that team the chance to pick their opponent is also good. i bet Wes wishes he had that option back in the day.

I thought the blind voting, then the reveal, then letting that team pick their opponent out of the teams that voted for them was a great way to handle eliminations.
That's going to make for some interesting votes later because no one is going to want to vote for the loser and put themselves at risk. I could see some teams attempting throw away votes on Bananas & Tony or CT & Veronica thinking that there's no way those teams will get the most votes. Then they might anyway, and now you've put yourself at risk against a strong team inadvertently.
Also agree that it looked like Paulie got screwed over. He looked to have about twice the resistance as Kam and he's not twice her size.

I wonder how this challenge would have played out if Paulie and Natalie changed positions, and he was the one building the puzzle while she grabbed the pieces.
Then it would have actually been an even playing field (besides the fact that men have larger brains than women).
