For whatever reason they seem to have MUCH more luck with rookie guys than rookie girls.
Except Jozea, he sucks.
But yeah, Kyle, Joss, the other Big Brother dude seems alright... Devin a few seasons before... Nelson, Tony, and Corey before him.
There have been some duds like Ammo or Tony's brother or the other UK dude last season, but they seem to have a much better batting average than with rookie girls.

The last place teams in the first challenge were all eliminated, or actually sent to the redemption house.

Since it was highest score between the 2 rounds, I didn’t understand why Brad and Kyle didn’t just try and grab on to Bananas since that was the only real threat. They had 11 and no one was catching that except Bananas.

so do we have a redemption house? It sort of cheapens the importance of eliminations but as long as only one couple can come back etc I guess it’s ok

Why are spending more than 10 seconds on the redemption house... Not only is the Brittni show beyond fake and atrocious acted... I hate everyone there except Jenna. They are also all complete scrubs but her.
That 5-10 minutes of their house threw off the entire rythym of a very very good episode.

It was rigged.. He may be shitty, but he ain't that Shitty.
I counted, his bands were double what Kam had. She only had 2 bands while he had 4. He couldn't get within 10 feet of his cage while she had barely any tension while nearly inside hers.
Ever since the Cara Maria "single winner" bullshite they pulled last year by starting her and Zach on the puzzle at the same time, there has seemingly been concerted effort to prop up the female competitors.
By having nearly all co-ed teams, you frick up eliminations tremendously and frick over many strong competitors. Obviously all truly physical games are out cause they'll never have a dude absolutely Truck a female on national TV.
So now, it seems the male will have essentially a huge handicap. I don't get it, recently the girl vs girl elims were pretty good and then you had one if the best male elims ever last year with Joss vs. Derrick.
If they screw with the format too much and it's means screwing over fan favoeites, they are going piss off their loyal viewers.

Ever since the Quiz Show scandal there's been some law that says game shows can't be rigged. I wonder if that applies to The Challenge. Maybe they can around it since they film in other countries.
Of course they have to handicap the guys for physical events against the girls but that's just more reason why they shouldn't have teams like this.

They would probably say it's not rigged and that they were just "accounting for physical differences" or some shite.
The foreign country thing might be an angle too, they can basically get away with murder on most of these shoots, plus the competitors essentially sign their life away in their waiver.
