The problem is would the mouse and Kennedy be able to swallow their pride enough to allow it happen. I think if Kennedy or some other higher up at Disney went to F&F and said that they realize the sequels have put them in box when it comes to telling current stories, and they are ok with F&F figuring out a way to fix it, F&F would be more than willing to do it. And they could figure out a way to "fix" the sequels without totally saying they never happened and aren't cannon. But again, would Kennedy or the higher ups at the mouse be willing to admit their failure?
Doesn’t Rebels kinda give them that out? With the whole Ashoka/Ezra in the Force Holocron phantom zone? Isn’t that how Ashoka missed the galactic civil war? Or am I misinterpreting that.

Could Grogu choose the armor and when he’s returned to Mando they are beginning their war? Then Luke decides to join in and gives grogu the saber?

Grogu is a little kleptomaniac, he may steal it from Luke and end up with both.
I don’t know though.. he can’t eat the lightsaber, so maybe it’s safe.

Oh I think they know they got to get rid of that trilogy simply for how it treated Luke if they worry about making money with Star Wars over the next 5 to 10 years.

I think so. Correct me if I’m wrong but it looked like Bane purposefully shot him in his shooting shoulder.
It is hard to tell from the shot but when the townsfolk start bandaging his wound it is on the left side and Vanth is right-handed.
As an aside, the Weequay barkeep in Mos Pelgo aka Freetown is played by W. Earl Brown, none other than Dan Doherty from Deadwood which obviously gives him a connection to Olyphant.

She was Fulcrum before Cassian Andor.

So Grogu was at the Jedi temple when Order 66 went down and that's where he was taken from?
Crazy that Luke is now helping/healing Grogu from a tragic event that was caused by his dad, Anakin.

A poster mentioned earlier that Bane has stood toe to toe with Jedi. What are his abilities/weapons that allow him to do that? So far I just see the blaster, which a Jedi should be able to handle.

Cobb Vanth is about to get the lifesaving mods i.e. Shand.

I thought about this earlier but my own personal speculation is that the end of this season will close out Boba Fett and maybe even Tatooine's story, as far as the Mando-verse is concerned.
I think they were breaking stories for Mando season 3 and figured out that wanted to close out Boba's story and they also wanted to move Mando's story forward with the darksaber and Mandalorian lore.
I believe at that point they decided to make a Boba Fett centric show so that he's not just killed off as a side character in the Mandalorian and use the series (which feels like Mando season 2.5 anyway) to tie up loose ends in the story. It also helps explain why Book of Boba Fett was such a surprise because most of the work done for it up until that point was done for The Mandalorian.
I could be way off, but it's something I thought of while doing dishes on my lunch break.

He fought Obi-Wan and Anakin together to I guess you would say a draw. He has all manner of bounty hunter gadgets like a flamethrower, some sort of electrical field generator, jet packs in his boots and droids (like Todo 360) that help him. He can also fight with a lightsaber if he can grab one. He is indeed pretty much a badass.

The sequels are already set in motion, if that us a future. Palpatine is still alive. Theres still a fleet of Star Destroyers being built. The First Order is forming in the unknown regions.
Correct.
Wasn't Vanth first introduced in the Wendig Aftermath trilogy? Those books are supposed to be cannon, and if F&F are pulling characters from them, it makes them even more so.
By the end of that trilogy, not only had we seen the battle of Jakku, but remnants of the Imperial Navy were heading toward the Unknown Regions looking for a fleet of ships that Palpatine had stuck out there. Also, we see where Hux is being trained by his father to one day have a high position in the First Order.
So sadly, everything is connected, and the sequels will still be what they are, no matter how bad they are.

From what I've seen/read, he was. Has anyone in this thread read those books? Are they worth it? I know a lot of people feel like the old EU (legends) stuff was better than some of the new canon stuff. Just wondering if these are worth picking up.
Same with the Thrawn books.

I read them a while back. I want to say maybe 5 years ago or so. They were ok, nothing spectacular. I don't remember Vanth in them, but each book does have some interlude chapters that don't deal with the main plotline/characters that carries from book to book, and he may have been introduced in one of those.
It does fill in some things between the end of ROTJ and the Disney movies/shows, and somewhat hints at Palpatine's return, sets up Hux, etc.

Grogu and chainmail v Yoda's lightsaber. WTF kinda choice is that Luke? Can you say cliffhanger?
Take the chainmail and remind Luke that Jedi are supposed to build their own lightsaber as a part of their training.

I really hope they are undoing the last series of movies.
Luke is the balance..
I always wanted it to be gray. No light, no dark. The Jedi and the sith are in absolutes.

Y'all really need to give up hoping that they are just going to render three movies completely useless. It's just not going to happen.
Just hope that the lore built around it through TV shows fleshes everything out better like Clone Wars did with the prequels.

It is pretty easy to argue that at its core SW has always been a space western/space opera hybrid.
Now we just need Malcolm Reynolds and the Firefly to show up.
