I saw that silhouette and started telling my wife Holy shite it's Cad Bane!!
I watched the episode with my friend, and he freaked out at the first silhouette shot. I think I'm the only one on here where it took like 3 takes for me to finally realize who that was

So is this and the Mandalorian turning into one show now? Will they still do crossovers?
Was this Luke much better than the finale Luke? I thought the finale luke looked more like Luke

Could Grogu choose the armor and when he’s returned to Mando they are beginning their war? Then Luke decides to join in and gives grogu the saber?

This Luke looked a lot better than the Luke in the Mando season 2 finale. A Youtuber by the name of Shamook went on Youtube after the Mando season 2 finale and took the footage from the episode and created a far better deep fake of Luke. He did such a good job that Disney hired him to do Luke for this episode. Here is his youtube video that he posted after the Mando season 2 finale: LINK

God, I wish we could’ve seen that initial discussion between Ashoka and Luke.
“So,um, I was your fathers apprentice….”

The Book Of Everyone But Boba Fett is fun to watch.
Whole Lotta awesomeness in that last episode...
Olyphant is just injured huh?

It kind of bothered me, the way that Ashoka and Luke treated the appearance of Mando.
Ashoka left the Jedi order because of their stringent ways. Luke supposedly rebuilds the order in a less rigid manner. Why wouldn’t they allow Grogu to see his friend?
Luke giving him that sort of choice doesn’t seem very progressive. Especially from two people who know how damaging the order’s strict rules were.
I totally Geek’d out in front of my wife when Cad Bane’s silhouette appeared. Holy frick shite.

More like, "you look so much like your mother."

Based on the 8th film, yes I know it sucks but it’s canon, Luke is a terrible teacher.

Cad Bane. I totally lost it when I realized who that was as he was walking up.
Totally loved this episode but I feel like the Bobba Fett series has been hijacked but Mando S2.5

This episode was shocking in a lot of aspects.
Mando season 2 finale was great because it gave us a few minutes of Prime Luke; we all thought that honestly was a one-off. Here's the newsflash- it wasn't a one-off, he's going to become a semi-regular in these shows. These aren't just set IN the SW Universe, they're actual Star Wars.
Imagine how idiotic Disney feels about releasing the sequels now. If they'd just done the tales (Rogue One, Solo), they could now be in position to make some really great shows, and then the occasional ENOURMOUS movie.
Hell, recasting Han was a mistake now, too. You could now be de-aging Harrison Ford (and finding a suitable stand-in to CGI over). He could drift into and out of a ton of these stories.
If they'd only sat on things until the tech was ready, and they had the storylines in place... we'd be sitting on the edge of a new type of movie experience. Movie stars would be ILM creations. And it would spill over. Just like in comic books, characters will never be recast as long as they're popular.

I think Grogu is a bit she’ll shocked from what happened at the temple, and wants nothing to do with blasters or sabers.

After this epiode, anything is possible. Seriously, Star Wars changed today. The possibilities are now endless.
I said the same thing to my wife. I said we’re seeing Luke evolve and this is canon and the story is changing before our eyes. It was pretty exciting, to be honest.

I see it just the opposite, they see why the strict rules are necessary. Anakin didn't follow them and he turned to the dark side and helped destroy the entire jedi order except for yoda and Obi Wan. That's exactly why Ahsoka said she wouldn't train Grogu, because she saw how even the best of the jedi could turn because of strong attachments/connections.

Did anyone catch Luke say that he wasn’t teaching Grogu, as much as Grogu is remembering? Is that a foreshadowing of Grogu being someone else? Does that mean that he will just naturally become strong with the force and doesn’t actually need training? That little tidbit between Ashoka and Luke highly intrigued me.

At the time that seemed like the slam dunk way to make money. And they did make a lot of money. They also poisoned the well and insulted their fan base, which required Fav and Fil to come in to save the day.
In Disney's defense the sheer age of the original stars did sort of force their hand. Hamill isn't getting any younger. Ford looks like death warmed over. And poor Carrie Fisher didn't live long enough to see the Sequels finished.
Now they are sort of stuck. They have almost limitless possibilities with things they can do with these shows right now and they have a rabid audience for it. But... there is a light at the end of that tunnel and its the oncoming train of the Sequels.
Luke as a space hobo. Darth Bieber. Leia as Peter Pan. It is all canon and I don't think Fav and Fil would willingly piss all over someone else's work... even if the Mouse and Kennedy would sign off on it.
Star Wars is in the same position a sports team would be in if they started a game ice cold and found themselves down several scores late in the game. Yeah, they put in the back up and he's turned things around, but did they dig themselves into too deep of a hole?

I still like the idea of having Luke wake up from a nightmare that is the sequels. It's what would happen if he took the path of a solitary hermit who gives no shits.

I took it as Grogu was getting early stages of training from the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. They said he's over 50 years old. Obviously it takes him a long time to mature but he probably got ~20 years of early Jedi training.

Grogu is a little kleptomaniac, he may steal it from Luke and end up with both.
