Just dropped in on my Hulu, didn’t even know this was a thing

But it’s a one hour episode of Cousin Richie and John bernthal on a roadtrip to Gary Indiana set before the main series ever started

For those interested and unsure if more eps are coming or if it’s a one off

You sure it's not just another episode of Punisher?

Just googled it, looks like its just a special 1 off episode written by Ebon Moss-Bachrach. No connection to the upcoming season

Thanks for the head’s up. I’m in the middle of Season 2 of The Punisher rewatch and Bernthal’s acting and screen presence is great. I enjoyed his appearances in the Bear, as well.

Thanks for the heads up, definitely watching this.

Just finished it, Bernthal is great. The pain in his eyes in one scene definitely plays into what happens down the road.

To me, Gary is the first prototypical midwestern shithole I knew of (since I grew up for years in Indiana). Oddly emotional episode, but loved it.

How was the last season? Didn’t watch it, the constant yelling is tiring.

I guess you don't watch many shows based in Jersey, NYC, Chicago, Detroit, etc.

The fine dining thing was a bit tiring this season. I preferred the scrappy beef attitude of the early seasons, but I'm sure it will recover.

I hate Mikey. Someone should knock his bipolar arse out. He just gets all hot headed and says the meanest shite and acts like he does nothing wrong ever

So the character accomplished the mission of making you passionate about hating him.

More pretentious than the previous. It’s a shame because the first two seasons were great and very good. S3 was a series of good yet artsy pretentious individual episodes that lost focus of what made the show great and lost track of pushing an overall plot. Then S4 became an even more pretentious artsy mess that completely lost focus on story telling. It was all over the place, and it was incredibly boring.

I am in the middle of season 2. I am not much of a binger so I am slow playing it watching an episode or 2 a week.

Damn - that started off awesome, but really took a turn somewhere. Glad we got a background episode as a teaser to Season 5 instead of taking up an episode

This episode was fricking great IMO. It definitely got rough near the end and both actors nailed it.

Not gonna lie this was the most boring thing I watched in a while.

I love the bear too, this just didn’t do it for me.
