I’m starting to legitimately hate our society and the times we live in. Think of all the great IPs that have or are being ruined? Star Wars, Witcher, Wheel of Time, LOTR, soon to be Harry Potter I bet, etc.
Think what COULD have been and it’ll depress you

Holy shite that is great! Can we get Tommy Wiseau to be the show runner of the next series? Have to keep this run going!

It’s just another form of trying to destroy our art. “Let the past die kill it if you have to.” The people who downplay the importance of the culture war are wrong. It’s called a war for a reason and they mean to win it and you’re unlikely to enjoy that outcome very much.

I waited since I was a kid for something big for Halo.
Neil Blomkamp directed that awesome short movie Halo: Landfall and it looked incredible. So much potential. Halo has enough lore to be close to Star Wars, Harry Potter, etc.
Fast forward to now. We have a Halo where everything in it is essentially the opposite of everything in the games and books. It went from military sci-fi to a drama for wine moms.

Haven’t watched the third episode yet but this sounds like it will be Star Wars Handmaid’s Tale for me. That show was so god awful until I released the creators were making a comedy and didn’t realize it. Probably going to be the same here.

I don't know how many are actually watching the show, but I tried to give it a chance. I thought the first two episodes were slow, but watchable. The third was just...complete trash. It might be one of the worst episodes of television I've ever watched. The acting was trash. The writing was trash. So many scenes didn't make sense. The Thread? The frick is that?
Exactly. This is exactly me. I had some nitpicks with the show prior to this episode but it wasn’t the woke trash it was made out to be. The direction was fine. Actors were better. Writing was still hit or miss but I was willing to give it a chance.
And then episode 3 happened. How the frick does 1 small fire started by a little girl destroy an entire temple and spread WHEN THERE IS NOTHING FLAMMABLE. Just rock and metal.

Same here. Now it’s just True Detective Night Country all over again.

...and I don't know if that's even top five of stupid shite in the episode. I can generally look past shite like space campfires and weaponized hyperspace. I'm not threatened by Muh Woke Agenda in Hollywood. I see the Female Force as the pandering it is. Don't care about any of it.
This episode was just terrible all around, and it was a waste of time.

It’s possible KK misinterpreted the South Park episode as an instruction manual and not a joke. They literally put as many gay lame chicks in this as they could find.

There is clearly more going on than what we are shown from Osha’s perspective in the flashback.

Obviously the Jedi did it. If the Jedi didn’t start the fire I’ll eat a hat.

Cmon, not every character is lame and gay. What about the body positive Jediabetes? He’s neither, so far.

I haven't watched anything after the Last Jedi, unless I read spoilers first. I can't devote the time to watch any of this BS only to find out that 95% of the time, I'll hate it. This show looks like it's following the same path.

Just proof that wokeness can destroy anything.

Why is the last Jedi some holy sacrament to these people? It’s super weird. I mean I obviously get the tweets meaning, as that movie and this show are by far the two most blatant attempts at subversion of Star Wars, but it’s still weird.
