But the show runner is gay.

How could it be mediocre?

Female Bruce Lee ninja Jedi sounds super gay.

I do like the campfire on the outside of the space ship. Some twitter guy said this is what happens when mansplaining doesn’t happen.

From variety

quote:

“The Acolyte,” Disney+‘s newest Star Wars series, reached 4.8 million views in its first day of availability. This marks the streamer’s biggest series premiere of 2024 thus far, according to Disney.

An exact first-day viewership total isn’t available for “Ahsoka,” the most recent Star Wars series, though Disney did report that it took five days to reach 14 million views. That comes out to an average of 2.8 million viewers per day — 2 million below the launch of “The Acolyte.” (Note: a “view” is calculated by dividing the number of hours each title is watched by its runtime.)

More to come…

So for every 5 people who watch 10 minutes then bail, they add a viewer to the count. That's some Common Core shite.

Everyone knows streaming ratings are fake. They’re provided by Disney in this case and only 3rd party analytics are reliable though also not perfectly accurate. Even so this premier had 4.8million viewers, for context Obi Wan had over 11million for its premier so it’s nothing to celebrate, it’s a bomb actually.

The only thing that can possibly save this series would be the reveal of the one true Acolyte...

The most woke series of them all. I quit after 15 minutes.

There is a difference between being a snowflake and simply choosing to NOT support and encourage more of this woke trash, which seems to offend you. These people dont like you and didnt make a show for you. This is for pride month fan bots.

Just checked the Rotten Tomatoes numbers.

92% - All critics
74% - TOP critics
27% - ALL audience.

The corporate shills are out in force, writing the same tired stories of 'review bombing' and 'bots' to counter the score from actual fans who watch and reject this show.

There is no review bombing campaign. It's all in their head and a coping mechanism for folks who simply can't accept facts.

This is the great disconnect between Hollywood & the real world. Until that gulf begins to close, nothing will change.

Exactly. I’ve been watching the Rotten Tomatoes audience score since the night it premiered. It started at 51%. The precipitous drop has taken place after fans had a chance to watch it. That’s not “review bombing”, that’s fans watching it and realizing it’s pure dog shite.
