there was nothing "grand" about the finale or the season in general.
The fact they brought Palgueis AND Yoda into this dumpster fire of a show is their
The attempt to assassinate Sol's character to cover up things that happened is lazy and stupid and on par with "it was a man's fault". The audience watched the overlong flashback and could see that once the Jedi were inside the flammable stone fortress they acted reasonably.
What did Queen Witch Lady think was going to happen once she started turning into a demon smoke monster and dissolving Mae along with her anyway? I mean, seriously.
I'm genuinely glad the show is over. Shove it into the Disney vault and never let it see the light of day and someone please bury any chance at a second season.

I think what this show was aiming for was that Plagueis saw that the twins were created with The Force and took that as inspiration to make his own attempt at it. Which failed and the Force responded by creating Anakin.
The show including Plagueis slaps the cannon and the character in the face. It makes a former wise and powerful Sith look like a stalker who took inspiration for his actions from another entity rather than him having the agency to do what he did on his own.
Leslye Headland needs to absolutely not be allowed near Star Wars again. I could've written a better show than this bullshilt.

It wasn't done for the audience to hate Sol...it was a coverup that the audience knows about. Generally speaking, the audience is going to side with Sol here.

Is it fact/canon that he never created life?

Eps 1&2: boring & stupid
Eps 3&4: absolute garbage.
Eps5: flashy lights to impress fools.
Eps 6: dumb & dumber, SW meets Harvey Weinstein's creep factory
Eps 7: Demon Smoke Monster stupidity.
Eps 8: terribly written and acted. stupidly shoe-horned into canon
FIFY.
this show makes no point, has no real plot, and does not belong in the Star Wars canon.

Its in the lore that he could create life with the midi-chlorians.
It would be very odd to point out that as an ability he had if he never did it

no because the audience is smart enough to know what Sol did was justified. the show is trying to paint Sol in the universe as a rogue Jedi who committed a great crime.
when in fact we saw him do what was justified to protect two children.
them laying all of this and the cover-up at Sol's feet is stupid.

I disagree, only because the show itself had Sol siding against himself at the end. Even his loyal sidekick inexplicably turned on him.
Yoda now has gotten his character assassinated like Luke did in TLJ. Either he's complicit in the cover-up, or he isn't smart enough (or the Force doesn't show him) to figure it out.
While the prequels showed the Jedi as flawed, this show didn't give a single noble Jedi at all. They were all either weak, stupid, or complicit in a conspiracy or cover up. What is the point of celebrating thei return if they aren't any good to begin with?

this was a blatant character assassination and I'm positive the creator included Yoda thinking it would be cool or something.
Yoda being one of the wisest and most powerful Jedi would've been able to sense the unrest in Master Nepo, would've been able to feel and sense all the Jedi death, even would've been able to sense the darkness active and looming around them ... but no. He doesn't and can't because Leslye doesn't know how the Force and Star Wars works.

That's one interpretation.
My first thought is if Yoda wants to keep this from the council then that means the council is probably corrupt.
That seems much more likely than to me than Yoda being the bad guy and the council being full of great people.

We do not know yet what Yoda's response will be. So, he is neither complicit nor lacks the intelligence you are alluding to. For all we know she lies to Yoda as well. She may only be telling Yoda her once padawan is now a Sith and nothing more. Until S2(if there is one) we will not know how he responds.

The show was created with the goal there would be a second season from the start. The question now will Disney push for it or not.

The question now is how Disney will make this fit their canon. In the PT Yoda and the council were surprised by the existence of the Sith.

Sol stated before his death that the girls were not sisters or twins.
The appearance of Plagueis was on a different planet than where the girls were created and raised.
For all we know he was the creator of the two girls and let everyone believe the witches and planet were their creation. Him and other Sith kept their identity secret until their plan could be executed to rid the universe of the Jedi.

Disney breaks their own cannon without any regard for it so this won’t be a problem for them.

If that’s what they were going for then they missed the mark with me. Then again I really don’t care about any of them except the two that only had about a second of screen time each.

One of the things that bothered me last night was the lightsaber turning red so easily.
Osha/Mae, whoever the frick is the one going bad now, started bleeding into the kyber crystal before she killed Sol. She also has ZERO training in the drak side, or any help on how to make this happen. It just happens, just because.
Look at what it took Darth fricking Vader to turn a lightsaber red, as well as Kylo, but Osha/Mae does it instantly without even trying or knowing what she's doing, and does it perfectly.
Did anything even close to what Vader had to do happen to Osha/Mae?
also forgot to mention the lightsaber was broken, yet she somehow fixed it with the force i guess.
quote:
"Since kyber crystals are naturally attuned to the light side of the Force, those who serve the dark side must follow a different path. First, they must seize a pure crystal from the lightsaber of a Jedi they have vanquished in combat—for the saber of a Sith is not given. It is taken. Then, they must infuse that crystal with their pain, anger, and hatred, bending it to their will. This corrupts the crystal, aligning it with the dark side and making it bleed with unbridled crimson power. The bleeding process can yield unpredictable results. Some crystals shatter, making their energies unstable and unpredictable. Others resist their realignment, refusing to be bent toward the darkness. Once a crystal has been properly bled, the primal power it releases becomes not only a deadly instrument in the hands of a Sith Lord, but a symbol of their true strength in the dark side."
-Darth Sidious
Osha/Mae, whoever the frick is the one going bad now, started bleeding into the kyber crystal before she killed Sol. She also has ZERO training in the drak side, or any help on how to make this happen. It just happens, just because.
quote:
Bleeding was accomplished by pouring rage, hate, fear and pain into a kyber crystal by means of the dark side of the Force, until the crystal changed, resulting in the crimson-bladed lightsabers associated exclusively with dark side adepts. Since kyber crystals were inherently aligned with the light side of the Force, they could attempt to resist the forced corruption. When Darth Vader first attempted to bleed a kyber crystal, he experienced intense light side Force visions urging him to return to the light side. The procedure could also damage the crystal as was the case with the kyber crystal at the heart of Ben Solo's Jedi lightsaber; Solo's attempt at bleeding it resulted in the crystal cracking and forced Solo, now going by Kylo Ren, to modify his lightsaber into a crossguard model in order to vent the excess energy from the unstable crystal.
Look at what it took Darth fricking Vader to turn a lightsaber red, as well as Kylo, but Osha/Mae does it instantly without even trying or knowing what she's doing, and does it perfectly.
quote:
Shortly after the formation of the Galactic Empire, Dark Lord of the Sith and Galactic Emperor Darth Sidious explained the bleeding process to his Sith apprentice Darth Vader. Having lost his Jedi weapon on Mustafar, Vader was in need of a new lightsaber. Sidious tasked his apprentice with tracking down and killing a member of the Jedi Order, as Sith tradition dictated that the kyber crystal of a Sith lightsaber must be taken from a Jedi they killed. Vader, having accepted his mission, located Jedi Master Kirak Infil'a on the river moon of Al'doleem. After killing Infil'a, Vader took his lightsaber with him when he departed.
On his master's orders, Vader traveled to Mustafar, where he had recently suffered his greatest defeat. Sidious wanted the Sith Lord to bleed Master Infil'a's crystal on the surface of the planet. Upon reaching the planet's surface, Vader entered a cave that was strong with the dark side. He dismantled the curved-hilt lightsaber and placed the Jedi Master's kyber crystal on a rock.
Using the Force, Vader began subjecting the crystal to the bleeding technique. However, the crystal resisted, subjecting Vader to Force visions of what his life could be if he chose to abandon the dark. In a vision, Vader returned to the light side of the Force and killed his Sith Master, before returning to his Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi and begging for forgiveness.
Vader, having been thrown against the wall of the cave by the living crystal, returned to his feet and refused to give in. Grasping the crystal with both hands, Vader unrelentingly subjected the crystal to his pain and regret. Vader screamed as the cave erupted in a stream of Force energy. Eventually, the crystal's will was shattered by the Dark Lord, who subsequently returned to Coruscant and presented his efforts to his master. Vader later traveled to Galen Erso's Office on Coruscant, where he found a stash of kyber crystals left behind by Erso and bled them.
Did anything even close to what Vader had to do happen to Osha/Mae?

It did seem too easy for Osha, however I would've expected it to be easier for her than Vader, because he spent so much time as a jedi using the light side of the Force.

Sometimes its best to not overanalyze everything. I thought it was pretty cool to see that on screen for the first time.

Everyone that has successfully "bled" a kyber crystal red, has done so after removing the crystal from the light saber and corrupting it using the dark side fo the force, and had help on how to do this from their master.
Osha/Mae had no idea what she was doing. It just happened.
