That would be an issue if it were relevant to this show. But gay politics aren’t a central focus of this show. The sexuality of the characters is fairly irrelevant to the story. It isn’t mentioned at all. Its barely hinted at, there is only one scene that would even lead you to think the lead witch may be involved with the zabrak. Andor was much more blatant about its lesbian couple.

This show is tame. There are shows on Cartoon Network that push identity politics harder than this.

As much warning about identity stuff and “ruining lore” as I saw prior to this episode, I expected to see way worse… and by episode’s end, I was left thinking “That’s it?”

You have plenty issues listed that are fine criticisms. Corny magic mantras and poor acting. Identity stuff is the least of this show’s problems.

The First Order is blatantly depicted as an evil follow-up organization.

The Sequels are very simple in depicting who is bad and who is good.

The Prequels began planting the seeds of flawed Jedi and a corrupt Republic. Megacorporations pullings the strings of political movements. The “good guys” turning into the “bad guys.” And these themes continue being shown in the Clone Wars show as well. Nothing about that is new or a product of Disney telling them what to do.

The force has always been binary. Good vs Evil. That is no longer the case. Jeti can be "bad", their motives questionable, their actions evil. We now have different interpretations of the force. Which in and of itself would be fine if it wasn't being used as a vehicle to cram "the message" down our throats. Having immaculate conceptions outside of Anikens birth completely changes the entire methos. It's right up there with resurrecting Palpatine. The only reasons these choices are being made is to promote a social agenda and lazy unimaginative writing.

I’m happy you seem to like the show. Good for you man. But when you have a show-runner saying that her queer experience is reflected in the show and then you have a group of space witches talking about the galaxy that can’t accept them, you have to be pretty blind to say there isn’t any messaging. It’s tiresome to have entertainment be co-opted into social messaging at every turn.
You are right that the bad writing and stupid storyline are much greater issues with this particular show. Maybe a focus on the quality of those things rather than sticking it to the patriarchy Star Wars style would have helped.

This is obvious grooming.
