I’ve watched it 3 times now. It’s easily one of the better episodes of a comedy show I’ve seen in a long time. Everything was executed flawlessly. The writing was fantastic. The ending is great because it’s something so obvious yet you’re still caught a little off guard.

I thought episode 2 was cheesy as hell and think that the new season is off to a rough start. Keeley’s spank bank material scene is ridiculous and overly dumb.

Episode 2 was definitely better than episode 1. The psych woman felt like a different character at the end of episode 2 than she did in episode 1 and the beginning of episode 2. I wonder if she has some ulterior motive or what.
This season hasn’t been as good as last season was so far but who knows how it will turn out. The pub lady and the hooligans are always money lol.

Also, good tease of Roy’s retirement speech. Can only hope we get the full version at some point, I suppose Jamie will have it playing when Roy makes it back around to the Richmond club for a visit.

I can only assume the writers were trying to do that bait-and-switch on purpose because the last time we saw Keely was when Jamie was stalking her.

I did like this episode much more than the first. The masturbation gag was stupid but I’m glad they’re bringing Tartt back as the whole season was starting to come off like Friends without some kind of conflict. The Roy pundit schtick was obvious but not overplayed and Ted had more of the thoughtful moments this time, which is why I liked season 1. I feel better about the direction of things at this point. Still not on the level of season 1, but good show overall.
