It’s his thought listened by a tech then pushing the sequence then relaying it. Why not just show the program had learned and ultraman was using it?
You'd have to ask Lex. It's his program.

Lex had no disadvantages in this movie. He can create universes and black holes, had the ability to clone Superman, don’t know why he didn’t just make more, had free rein to do whatever he wanted and had the most insane tech ever, (nanites basically made the Engineer immortal)
Because if he did all this, he would win and it wouldn't be a Superman movie.

Probably didn’t want to take the chance of one or more going rogue. Seems that they have to be right in that retarded enough range to control but still follow orders. Sorta like the USMC but with super powers.

He literally says why he didn't in the movie

I find that people who critique small details that and turn them into huge problems don’t actually pay attention to the films
At least I recall that happening in TDKR and twice in this thread

That makes sense, the problem is his tech is so OP any excuse for that kind of limitation is contrived and nonsensical.

Mr. Terrific said that Luthor specialized in science that was reckless.

Without question, he reproduced the Big Bang. Doesn’t get more reckless than that

I don’t actually think most of the stuff I complained about was a huge problem. Just didn’t like the way it was handled but I still enjoyed the movie a ton. Casting and tone of the movie was amazing. Just a few things got me annoyed.
Superman could’ve been way more powerful and Ultraman could’ve still beaten him since he was a clone and have all his moves memorized.
Feel like Lex could have also laced the nanites with kryptonite and that could’ve been the reason he struggled against the engineer.
Superman vs the Raptors was the only time I felt he was actually normal strength.

Must’ve missed that comment. Thought he was in there to “guard” and subdue him and later be a character in the show or be another “fight”
Also if Lex is brilliant enough to clone an alien with all his powers, build a wormhole, and all the other stuff, he could’ve made some kryptonite lol

Just saw that Superman passed up Thor Ragnarok at the domestic box office. Bummer the foreign box office is failing us because this may have come close to a billion in 2017.

Mr. Terrific assured her that he'd made his ship's controls highly intuitive, which would explain how she could sit and immediately be able to fly the ship. Mr. Terrific in the comics is just that smart.

Yes, but it created boundaries against Lex being too OP for superman and allowed the introduction of a character they wanted to have in the Gunn universe

They’re trying to temper tantrum this movie into making more money lol.

I think he wants a movie where Lex stomps a mudhole in Superman. I'd watch that movie too, but I doubt it'd do well at the box office.

Cherry picking stats and comparing (part) of the box office from 2017 to compare with 2025. Odd cope.
Thor Ragnarok did far better internationally, (almost 2/3 of its WW haul) while 2025 Superman is tanking, bigly. (Only about 40%)

Dude nobody is cherry-picking anything. All I said was that was awesome basically that it’s doing that well domestically and it may have had a chance at a billion if it was 2017. I didn’t say that wb is even happy with the numbers. I don’t know who you’re even speaking to. Why is it so important to try and impose your will in this thread and argue with air?
