Didn't it have an impact on the vines that were choking Steve, Nancy, and Robin? It caused them to loosen which let them reach Vecna's physical body.
I'm assuming the time jump has to happen in order to give Vecna time to heal and formulate a plan. Then again, this could all just be one long D&D mission created by Will in his dreams to come out to his friends.

I thought it was because El was kicking Vecna's arse, but maybe it's all connected and didn't realize. I know Joyce mentioned the particles and this was how they thought they could help, but the fact that everything happened at once, I wasn't sure if they were actually right.

Really enjoyed these last two episodes. Eddie needs to be dead, they made a great ending for him. Not everyone needs to come back

Season 4 was the best season yet. Everything tied together so neatly, pulling together these loosely connected plots from the past 3 seasons under the umbrella of Vecna/Henry/One

Agree. I've loved each season, but season 3 felt a bit too hokey at times with the humor.
Season 4 adopts a much darker and more serious tone which I appreciated.

its funny that Nancy didn't choose Steve when he was the obvious choice, but he's one of the better hearted and well acted characters.
