I took it as the slaughtering Anakin did in ROTS. I thought since it was his Saber that was what we were hearing, but you could be right.

I missed that one. Who said that?

Saw it last night. Beyond awesome. Perfect sequel to the original Star Wars trilogy IMO.

Question that may have already been discussed: is anyone else concerned about Mark Hammill's acting prowess? Harrison Ford obviously is a top notch talent and channeled old school Solo like a champ. Fisher struggled and was a weak point in this episode. I honestly don't know what Hammill has been doing these past couple of decades but I have some reservations about his scenes. What's the consensus?

I re-watched ANH and TESB last night on my way back to STL.

Big question in my mind is why/how does Vader not know Leia is his daughter? Why can he not feel her presence? I don't recall but did Anakin/Vader even know Padme had twins? Guess i need to re-watch the prequels but they're soo hard to get through.

Also, for those that are SOOO incensed by Finn get blows on Ren, Luke himself gets a decent blow on Vader in TESB with hardly any training. I realize Luke has power but those that think force individuals are basically invinceble should by now have been proven wrong.

He became one of the most successful voice actors.

So maybe CGI Luke with Hammill's voiceover?

I didn't even initially recognize her. I thought she did a decent job though, but it was clear they only gave her a limited role.

Far from an expert, but didnt Vader say something to Luke about his feelings for "sister" in a surprised voice then said now that Luke's feelings had betrayed her, Obi_wan's failure was complete. Seemed like that exchange suggests that he didnt know

Her facial acting wasn't bad at all. Her speech patterns were terrible. But she wasn't nearly as bad as I thought she would be.

Hamill will be fine. Of his voice acting, he's especially known recently for the Joker from the Arkham games, which were brilliant; and I don't know if he also did that for the cartoon movies. I've read a lot of people say that his were the best Joker portayals as far as emotion and dialogue, ahead of Ledger.

The bigger issue is his physical appearance, he had to drop a lot of weight and he hasn't aged well (to be nice). But as a grizzled, disallusioned shell of his former self, he's actually cast well. They definitely seem to have taken Hamill into consideration as they wrote the role.

He definitely looks better now than he did 5 years ago. He also played the Joker in the animated series. I'm not worried about him at all.

They said that about Poe but Rey almost instantly was able to do things with the Millennium Falcon that Han couldn't even dream of doing. It's purposely there to make you think about her Force sensitivity level.

And actually famous for the Joker in the animated series (yes same character, but let's put the proper credit where it is due)

It's worth looking into his imdb, it is seriously impressive the voices he has done.

She sounded like she went through a pack of Marlboro Reds right before they filmed her scenes.

Hamill definitely improved his appearance. He looked much more like an older Luke than I thought he would.

Mark Hamill is one of the best living voice actors. He can get highly subtle nuances of a voice. He should kill it in Episode VIII. He's pretty much the least of my worries going forward in the sequels.

I would assume they have cartography in the Star Wars universe. Would the fact that an undocumented planet appeared not raise suspicions? Also my original point is that you would SEE THEM BUILDING IT

They didn't build the planet.

They hollowed out an already existing planet. They didn't build a new one.
