Recently gave it a re-watch and it doesn’t get enough credit as one of the better Best Picture winners of the last decade. But it’s just incredibly well directed and acted. Star studded cast. Keaton, McAdams, Tucci and Ruffalo were fantastic. Great screenplay.

Anyone else watched it?

Yes, great movie. Of course that kind of real journalism is now extinct.

Agreed. Probably my 2nd favorite movie from the last 10 years behind interstellar.

Also, it’s not some weird arthouse movie like almost everything else this past decade. It’s a straight procedural drama akin to something from the 90s.

I actually didn’t pay any attention to
Ruffalo’s accident.

I really enjoyed the movie. I enjoy stories of investigative journalism.

Aside from Foxcatcher, has Ruffalo made a decent film? Do not come at me with a superman movie, nerd. His accent in All the Light We Cannot See ruined the show and I couldn't watch it. The book was great.

You couldn't pay me to watch this list of shite.

Collateral. But he’s third bill at best.

Zodiac, Shutter Island, the Kids are Alright, and Adam Project.

Ironically, Dark Waters is about the DuPont family as well and a good one.

Not an endorsement of Ruffalo. He seems like a dick.

Fantastic movie that doesn’t get near the credit that it deserves. The scene where Matt suddenly bolts up from his chair and runs down the street to gaze at the neighbor’s house is beautiful writing.

Those private school boys on the OT would have convinced each other you are a heretic for having a positive opinion about the movie.
