I was pretty young when it came out but I remember the OG Daredevil pretty fondly.
Back to topic at hand, Mephisto rumors seem to be trending toward “broken clock is right twice a day” territory. Eventually it’ll be true but I think they’d be doing too much in this movie if they include him here.

I’ll watch because Spidey was my first comic book hero…circa most of the 80’s. I really like Holland in this role but hope at some point he grows the character out of a bumbling kid that keeps messing up into the hero that Spider-Man was. He was one of the most competent and popular hero’s ever in the MCU and needs to be portrayed this way.

Could be the cog that finally makes Peter realize who he is that he should not have that.
EDIT: Also he is not in the same costume around Wong. Something maybe Mephisto overlooks.

Agreed. It was charming in the first movie and even in the Avengers but it’s high time for this Spidey to graduate both in fighting ability (give me some of that Tobey Spidey fighting ability
) and in how he’s portrayed both as Peter and Spidey. Hopefully he’s a little maturer. Based on the trailer, it seems that way without sacrificing how goofy Peter still is even as an adult.
