Spider-Man No Way Home Discussion - Updated w/Official Trailer - Beware of Variants

Nah, I can't handle watching something like that.

We know who did it.

For anyone who doesn't want to sit through that shitshow video that looks like it was filmed in India in 2003 with a RAZR phone, here's the gist:

Everybody now knows who Spider-Man is and he doesn't like that. So he goes to Dr Strange to cast a spell that erases the world from knowing who he is.

Strange's Oriental mystic friend (you know, the character solely made to appeal to China) tells Strange not to frick with that shite and not to cast that spell.

Strange agrees, then looks at Parker and says... 'Yea, whatever, let's do this.'

Right as the spell is being cast, Parker says he wants just a couple of people spared that can still know who he is, like his friends and family, but Strange says that ain't how it works and it goes through. Parker keeps talking, though, and kind of fricks up the spell and Strange keeps telling him to shut the hell up.

Then, there's something about multiverses and space time coninium and Parker trying to live two different lives and it looks like he's caught in some kind of opposite reality (this will probably to make way for some surprise Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield appaearences, but that just my speculation).

Lots of unfinished CGI action scenes are shown and then during one big sequence, Doc Octopus (Alfred Molina) appears and says "hello Peter".

Then dramatic music plays on a cliffhanger and the title flashes. That's about all I could gather from that shitty video.

Agreed but I think Feige knows what he’s doing and knows how to fix where that series went off the rails
