wouldn't really make any sense..if it were him, wouldn't he just do that spell on his own? Why would he need Peter to wish it?

It will only be a Theater release. This is a Sony movie not a Disney Movie! Sony does not have a streaming service. Disney does not have the right to stream Spiderman movies. They have a sharing agreement which allows Spiderman and the movies to be part of the MCU. That's it end of story.
Also FYI Marvel is owned by the mouse. So they would have no say anyway.

Because he needs Peter’s binding consent. Mephisto does pacts with his victims.

In the comics Spider-Man does make a pact with Mephisto. It screws a lot of things up in his life. Like losing Aunt May. Dr Strange then has to fix it…

Interesting theory. Strange’s sanctum is completely covered in ice. Is it because he’s been a lazy bastard and not fixed the ceiling, or is Marvel low key correlating the sanctum with the ninth circle of Dante’s Inferno - the icy prison? Coincidental? We shall see.

15 hours later and I am hyped as frick.
I pray to God I don't spoil myself. I am equally as hype for this movie as I was for Infinity War and End Game. A long nearly 4 months ahead of us here.
