Having all these past villains in this movie without the Spider-Man from that timeline would really make it feel like something is missing, imo. I also don’t think Holland’s Spider-Man could handle the Sinister Six, so he will obviously need some assistance.

It would have been incredible but even had Marvel tried hiding it the only way to avoid finding out would have been to completely shut yourself off from the internet and TV.

Well that’s the thing, the “father figure” of each movie Iron Man, Happy and Fury, didn’t really help in the final battle and I feel like it will be a similar situation here. I don’t think Strange will play a role in actually fighting the final battle, just trying to fix the timeline so everyone can go back to their universes while Peter and probably the other two Spider-Men try to keep the Sinister Six from stopping Strange. I also imagine at a certain point Strange and Peter get separated for a large part of the movie. Hell, the Strange in the trailer might not even be the real one, could be an evil version and Peter has to find the real one so they can get back home
Regardless, Feige and Watts have done a good job of using characters from other movies, like Stark, Happy and Fury, without them actually taking over the movie and letting Peter fight his own battles.

Official trailer released a day after the leak.
I was already excited for the movie. But now I'm just ecstatic.
I hope Marvel says frick the dual release, and release purely in theaters. I believe this will be the movie that'll get families back out to the theaters together.
Can't believe we got Doc Oc back. If Tobey and Andrew are indeed involved, I hope like hell those don't get revealed until the movie was released, I don't wanna see them in the trailers!
But with the internet being what it is, and leaks have already started happening. There's no way that information will be kept in.
It's also interesting to see Dr. Strange fricking up in a real way. Since he was introduced, he's basically been perfect. He defeated an ancient all-powerful God being by simply outthinking and bargaining with him. He is a major reason why Endgame played out like it did. Zero chance they win without him.
Looks like his next movie won't be all about him fixing Wanda's frickups, but he will be having to fix his own as well.

Pretty sure they said Jungle Cruise was the last dual release but even then, everything for this is split 50/50 with Sony. And since Sony owns the character they pull rank.

They probably won’t include him but the rest of that fits. I also wonder if we get an original Sandman or maybe one from Holland’s universe. Maybe Scorpion instead. That way there would be 2 of the sinister 6 from each Holland, Maguire and Garfield’s universes

Sounds like Vulture is not in this but Rhino is if the leaks are to be believed.
I hated Rhino's portrayal in the Garfield movie but hopefully they do him justice. Jamie Foxx has said he won't be in blue makeup this time so that is a huge improvement.
I fully expected a sinister 6 since we were having 3 spider-men but I did not expect Defoe and Molina to be back so I am hyped.

I’ll give Raimi a pass for Spider-Man 3. It’s Sony that fricked that one up. Raimi just wanted Sandman and Harry Osborn to be the villains, and Sony was cool with that but demanded that Raimi include Venom, the Symbiote plot line, and Gwen Stacy in it. A lot of the scenes were a deliberate “frick you” to the studio who he gave what they wanted, but Emo Peter was deliberately hyperbolic.
Plus Marvel has done way more than a two vs two fight since then. They’ve earned back that benefit of the doubt.
