I actually thought it could have been an interesting idea, but, yea, they blew it with the female Thor.

My 6 year old daughter loved the female Thor. I know at times it was a little heavy handed (I bought the first 10 issues for her and we framed #1) but Marvel accomplished their goal.

Simpsons did it
Spider Ham predates the Simpsons first episode by 6 years. Marvel has been playing around with alternate versions of Spiderman for 40 years.

People are saying it’s an SJW film, so probably a straight white male.

hopefully it is a straight white male

It’s a great movie and the reviews are right about it. If the main character was white the film would still be absolutely the same. It’s the second best animated comic book movie behind Mask of the Phantasm.

It was ok. My two young boys liked it.
As an old 35 year old, felt like a 14 year old wrote the story, which isn’t a bad thing I guess since this movie was targeting kids, not adults, but I didnt care for it that much. Wouldn’t watch it again.
I did like the struggle miles had to overcome to become Spider-Man, and how the others helped him.
Don’t understand why Kingpin was strong enough to kill Spider-Man.

That's because you're used to the Vincent D'Onofrio version.
In the comics, Wilson Fisk is basically Paul Wight (Big Show) size but much faster.

Just went and saw this with my (about to be) 9 year old. We both thought it was badass! 10/10

Saw it this evening with my niece and nephew and we all enjoyed it.
The animation looked like I was watching a 3D movie without 3D glasses in some spots

It was legit. My only issue is that the theater ran the 3D version during a non-3D time slot.
