Not at all. I like IM, Winter Soldier, IW, Ragnarok. I just think some of them are wildly overrated. That's all.

I give my opinion, but on this board you can't say anything remotely negative about the MCU without people jumping on you.

This iteration of Spiderman really doesn't spend much time in NYC. He's spent more screentime in Germany, Washington DC, outer space, and elsewhere in Europe than he has in New York

Doesn't sound like you friendly neighborhood Spiderman, does it?

False. Watch this:

Iron Man 3 and Thor: The Dark World sucked.

This is true. But I wonder sometimes if he's just performing the balancing act. Generally, that's an illogical position, but one many of us take from time to time.

Eh? IM2 and 3, Dark World, Ant-Man and the Wasp, Captain Marvel, Black Panther, most people see GotG2 as a significant drop in quality. And the Endgame response was generally tepid compared to the IW response.

The First Avenger unfairly gets shat on. Constantly.

Spoilers are on reddit for anyone who want em

let me guess:
Spider-man fights a bad guy in the MCU world post-Avengers Endgame, and wins.
Story takes place somewhere other than NY (as the title suggests).
There is both action and humor, and some age-appropriate drama (as he's a teen).
We get a teaser for future movies.

What, for a fricking guess?

Do you need a spoiler for Star Wars if someone says there will be lightsabers, space travel, and The Force in it?

I have no idea what's in the movie, as I haven't read anything. Nor do I plan to look for it. I doubt I see it in the theaters unless I'm just bored, and it gets fantastic word of mouth, because I'm tired of the continued superhero glut. I think I'm taking Endgame as a chapter break, and checking out for awhile.

Can anyone give me a basic explanation on how this is different from the other dozen or so Spiderman movies from the past 15 years?

Can you explain how Bad Boys 3 will be different from Bad Boys, Bad Boys 2, Lethal Weapon, Lethal Weapon 2, Lethal Weapon 3, Lethal Weapon 4, Beverly Hills Cop, Beverly Hills Cop 2, Beverly Hills Cop 3, Rush Hour, Rush Hour 2, Rush Hour 3, Ride Along, Ride Along 2, 21 Jump Street, 22 Jump Street, Stakeout, Another Stakeout, 48 Hours, Another 48 Hours, Tango and Cash, Metro, Cop Out, The Other Guys, National Security, Running Scared, and all the skillion other buddy cop movies are different?

After that can you do all the spy series like Bond, Bourne, and Mission Impossible, the teen comedies that all end with the big dance or some kind of race/competitive event, vacation comedies where mishaps bring the family together, the rom coms that all have the big mix up nearly killing the relationship at the mid point, the fantasy flicks where a great evil must be defeated, the mystery thrillers where the killer turns out to be a character we already knew, the cat and mouse thrillers that seem to all end on top of a tall building or inside claustrophobic halls/homes, the slashers where you have sex or do drugs you die, the ghost stories where everyone dies no matter what they do, etc etc etc etc?

According to Netflix, I never even finished this one. Is there any reason to?

It’s a fun movie. Nothing special but it’s worth 2 hours of your time.
