You and fatkid need to take that shite to the politalk then. The movie is garbage but let’s talk about why it’s garbage. And it has nothing to do with LeBron personally other than his shitty acting chops.
Stop dragging the thread down with political bullshite.

Pepe Le Pew was cut from the film for promoting rape culture, but the Droogs (an actual rape culture) somehow made the film:

yeah anyone who thinks it was Lebron being narcissistic needs to fully appreciate how much of a WB circle jerk this was
...and those were often the best parts
seeing random white walkers and mr. anderson in the crowd was the only thing i could get into

Chine made movie!! You no like? You suki suki my wing wong Ching chong bing bong! Lebron numba one!
In all seriousness, China hates black people so it’s even more of a mystery as to why he loves China so much. I’ve always had the theory that lebron was created in a lab, he’s too artificial to actually be a real person. Perhaps he was created in China.

China only loves the following black people:
Lebron James
Will Smith
Beyoncé
That’s really it, but they absolutely love these three people. I had a black friend in China and we used to lie to bouncers at night clubs that he was Lebron James, that we were his entourage, and they’d let us in for free.

Slow,
For me it was seeing Voldemort in the crowd.

Is this free on HBO Max? If so I’ll probably watch it one night when I’m not able to sleep.
I’m expecting it to be pretty bad story wise with lots of nostalgia and awkward throwbacks to the original, hopefully a few funny cameos and shots of silly stuff in the crowd. I’m sure Lebron isn’t a great actor and I’m sure this movie goes out of the way to make him seem like a good genuine guy (the same way the original did for MJ).

I would never consider seeing a movie with a scumbag racist as the lead.

Holy shite this thread reeks of a bunch of snowflakes.
I watched it last night, and thought it was decent. All the cameos and WB crossovers were great, and the Michael B Jordan joke was awesome.
It was a solid movie for what it was, although the 3D toons did creep me out a little. They should just stay 2D forever.

It currently has a 82% Audience Score on Rotten Tomatoes, so apparently other people liked it as well.

It's really bad. Don Cheadle gives a cringe performance. Lebron is awful. The scenes without either of them are ok. But both of them did a shite job

I thought it was decent. The references were way better than the actual plot tho.

A $32M, projected, opening weekend is not awesome for a movie that cost $150M to make, before marketing expenses.

I’m looking forward to watching it with my son, and we would have gone to the theater otherwise. But since I can watch it for free in my living room, I’m not going to pay to see it, like majority of the films out there that I would normally see in the theaters.
