This thread has absolutely delivered.

Mr. Mackey could use fatandstupid as an exhibit in class, "mm'kay kids, mm'kay, this is what a bleeding vagina looks like, mm'kay."

For every mention of Trump they think there should be a mention of Biden or Obama.

Biden and Obama weren't cultural black holes like Trump, so I get why they have to portray him. It's kind of unavoidable given Trump's impact on the world.

I don't need to see them go after someone on the other side for balance just for the sake of balance. I just don't want to see the same Trump jokes every single episode because it gets boring. There are plenty of people and ideas in the world that can be ridiculed that don't revolve around Trump.

Nope. That's not what has happened in this thread at all.

It seems a common trait amongst the die hard MAGA crowd is a shocking inability to read the room.

These cowards have jumped the shark. They're no longer edgy and have turned into exactly the sort of "current thing" shills they used to mock (which made them famous).

When they finally do a bit on the Biden family, I'll believe they aren't complete sellouts. Trump jokes are boring and played out.

Looks like the retards got the last episode thread anchored. Paramount announced there will be another week delay and the next episode will air August 20th.

Guess this will be all season then oh well that means we get new South Park until Thanksgiving. Guess Matt and Trey finally got burnt out on the making an entire episode in six days.

damn that's getting annoying. you would think they would wanna ride the momentum while they have it and get more episodes in before football season (although I guess that won't matter much with episodes airing Wednesdays )

Betting part of it is they have less dedicated writers too that they can utilize. When they had guys like Bill Hader who was able to work in that schedule, they could churn them out. Probably not able to get that level of talent and commitment anymore to work that crazy of a schedule.

I wonder if they are taking 2 full weeks per episode now, or if they are taking a week off in between. I don't care either way, as long as we keep getting new content.

I would guess they had to downsize their in-house production staff when they went to such an irregular schedule, doing specials here and there. Not sure how many years it's been since they had a predictable Comedy Central schedule.

Yep. They should be able to build it back up with the new schedule but could take a while.

You need everything in sync to churn out an episode a week.

So today is "South Park Day" on Comedy Central and they aren't even showing a new episode?

19 new South Park episodes since 2020 and they still landed that massive Paramount deal. Insane.
