No, I don't have to do that at all. There is no one buying out theaters for this movie.

Actually, they are. They are heavily advertising a “pay it forward” campaign where people are buying tons of tickets so others can go see it for free with the hopes those people will buy someone else’s ticket. What is happening is tons of tickets are being bought but not used. People don’t want to hear it but it’s true. Smart marketing strategy, though.

Wait, so with your logic, anyone who is ever going to do something is already doing it so we don’t need awareness?

If they don’t know about yours, then it doesn’t matter because they actually do know and don’t want to do anything about it.”

Ok, so aside from feeling good about themselves for seeing the movie and becoming aware, what is everyone in this thread going to do about stopping child trafficking, especially what's taking place in 3rd world countries? We have one guy on record stating he bought 2 movie Tix to show support for a movie he cannot stomach to watch.

Again, I liken it to the Kony movie. Just seeing the movie and becoming aware doesn't really solve anything. Especially when people are insinuating Hollywood elites are behind everything.

It's a movie, it's entertainment, nothing more.

No one who calls this a "QAnon" movie can be believed about anything they say about this movie.

Gonna be honest ... I still don't know what qanon is and I don't give a frick because it sounds retarded,.

The movie was good. Liked it a lot. Have no idea why people claim it's some conspiracy theory shite. It happened and happens all the time. Pretending otherwise well it says a lot.

Anyway Mission impossible was great too but it's part 1 of a part 2 story so I almost skipped it for that reason. I hate cliffhanger endings that I won't get answer to for years possibly. Oppenheimer is next on my list.

There was nothing political in this movie its about child trafficking plain and simple

Lots of people apparently want to see a movie about child trafficking.

And it uses a solid marketing plan of, "It's the movie they don't want you to see." It's been working since "Banned in Boston!" guaranteed ticket sales.

Congrats to the clever folks behind it.

Donate money to agencies that work toward eradication. I thought that was made abundantly clear in the movie and elsewhere.
One of the issues the guy had to deal with is lack of funding…

It's very disturbing how much the mainstream media has gone out of their way to campaign against this movie.

I can’t understand that unless it’s because they’re involved in human/child trafficking or other nefarious activity.

The movie is certainly not some right ring whacko propaganda. If anything,’it aligns with liberal, emotional politics.
-White guy helps dark skinned people.
—white skinned guy works to eradicate Slavery.
-stopping women being exploited for their sexuality

The only aspect that I think the liberals hate is the Christian or God angle. The writer/actor is a known advocate for Christianity. Liberals and Hollywood hate this

Hollywood Reporter: John Carter earned just $284.1 million on a $306.6 million budget.

Others will tack on the marketing budget, and the fact that the film was seen as an even more major loss because it was planned as a trilogy that would tentpole the next Star Wars type franchise. Some will tell you that it was sabotaged (through marketing and misinformation) because there were those at Disney who saw it as a threat to the plans to purchase Star Wars.

You would have figured WB and Disney would be that clever too. You know, since you figured it out.

Petty hard to internationally distribute a low budget American indie. Its domestic success was necessary to make this next step.

Well, they also hate the idea of charity actually being more effective than government. They want government to be the answer to all the world's problems.

A story about a border patrol agent being more effective at stopping trafficking as a private citizen funded by Christian churches than he was as a government employee is anathema to their worldview. It flies in the face of the idea that things can't get done without more taxes.

All you have to do is look up the MANY videos on TikTok and twitter of “sold out” shows being empty, or close to it. You don’t have to believe what I say, use your eyes, or keep your head in the sand. Makes no difference to me

Well if TikTok says so it must be true. Dumbass.

When was the first time you heard of this movie?
I heard about it 4-6 weeks prior to release from the poliboard
The threads mentioned very little other than “Hollywood deep state pedos gonna kill Mel Gibson and Jim caviezel, cuz of movie”

It’s hard to take shite seriously after that
Turns out, this sounds to be a legit flick
You’re lucky you didn’t see those retards spouting their bullshite

July 4 when it did better than any other movie on that date. Don't remember being very aware of it before then.

Not that I’m aware of
But that didn’t stop the poliboard qtards from spreading their shite
They actually started these threads but still linked articles that had quotes from “Mel Gibson representatives” stating that he was not attached to this movie
Still didn’t stop them
If you wanna blame people for attaching a legit movie to retards, then blame the qtards that pushed such nonsense.
They opened the door for it to be discredited.

Pretty sure you're making all of this up, but it really doesn't matter.

People attacking a film shining a light on child trafficking are not defensible in any way. They are defending child trafficking, nothing less. In this scenario, the "QTards" look far better than the ones attacking this film.
